This place was recommended by a chocolate store as her favorite neighborhood eats. It did not disappoint. Their specialty is ricotta cheese (I am sure you have guessed it by now), so I have chosen the ravioli filled with ricotta and cooked in sage butter. Plus tomato salad with dried salted caper, and orange salad with onions since it is a specialty of Sicily. My belly was so full that I had to take the orange salad back to my hotel.

Ornato seafood and fish restaurant is situated in one of the most picturesque lanes in modica, very close to the central square corrado rizzone. A love of the sea and respect for our traditions are at the heart of our cooking at ornato. We take great prid
We (a group of four) visited this restaurant twice at our stay in Modica. Both times we had great dishes with fresh and very well tasting food, where innovative combination of ingredients provides a modern twist to a number of traditional and popular dishes.Service is excellent and the prices are fair for this level of fish restaurants.A real pleasure!

Capero Bistrot combines flavors, colors, sensations and quality of ingredients, through a careful and constant research aimed to enhance Sicilian products.
Great little restaurant in the centre of Modica. We dined here for two of our three nights in Modica, and we generally try to avoid going back to the same place twice. Catered very well for vegetarians, there was enough on the menu to have completely different vegetarian meals each night (they modified the menu a little for us, making the Modican antipasto platter more vegetarian focused). Traditional Sicilian food executed very, very well for very reasonable prices and perhaps the best meals on our trip. Highlights were the salted ricotta, caponata and vegetable arancini on the antipasto platter, a fava bean and dill gnocchi dish, and the almond parfait. Would highly recommend.

Great food, great atmosphere! This is one of the better restaurants in Modica and by far the best in its price range. The proprietor makes you feel like very welcome and will treat you to all kinds of gastronomic delights. One can not help but think about the next visit to Fabio's despite being so full that one cannot eat even a morsel more.If you're in the area, don't miss this opportunity for a truly genuine Italian experience!

Wine bar in a little street in the hystorical centre of Modica. You can taste some typical and unusual recipes while you sip your wine. In a very characteristic location you can be carry into a magical atmosphere.
While visiting Modica, I popped into this stylish whilst rustic restaurant. Once in, the gentleman who I suppose owns it, approached me, very polite but friendly too. Sat down together and went through the menu with me, brought me two kind of Syrah to try and delivered a board of salumi, cheeses and Sicilian delicatessen. Very highly recommend the place, the atmosphere and the lovely food must be tried

Nice atmosphere. Serves vegan, vegetarian, organic Sicilian specialties.
Booked on the strength of the trip advisor reviews and wasn't disappointed. Such friendly service with excellent English and imaginative food. We tried three of the starters and the beetroot Arancino was the favourite but all were excellent. All very happy with our risotto and pasta courses. Just food done very well with imagination. Would highly recommend.

To say that our experience at Accursio exceeded our expectations would be an understatement! The setting is one of understated elegance. The service is wonderful. But the food is just out-of-this world! Course after course where the depth of the quality was matched only by the breadth of the creativity. The wine recommended (a Mount Etna red) married beautifully with the variety of flavors and textures presented over what were, in effect (including amuses bouches and a savory pre-dessert), ten courses. The experience was not only indescribably delicious, but fun! I canât Imagine that Accursio will not receive a well-deserved second star before long, and the food is of three-star quality!

wine bar, happy-hour, light dinner. Is not possible menu gluten-free or vegan.
This is a lovely bar and wine shop with the outside seating area spread across two sides of the road in Modica Alta. It has a great wine list, cocktails and a small menu, and nice staff but the slowest service I have ever experienced in a bar, despite the fact that we were virtually the only two customers there - come on boys!
Where to eat Seafood food in Modica: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We offer a traditional, genuine cuisine, with local and italian dishes. Only home-made pasta of ancient sicilian wheats and zero mile ingredients.
This is a small seafood restaurant right in front of a beautiful Catholic Church. The food was good, but not great. However the location and the view was well worth the experience. The service was a little slow, but passable if you are not in a hurry. I had pasta with seafood that was tasty but a touch over cooked. The shrimp were cooked to mush and the pasta was a little overdone. For a second course I had the Italian sausage. The sausage was well prepared and very tasty.
