We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Sardasalata, the service was attentive and swift and the pizza, while not napoletana, was very tasty and creative. We went for a (1) margherita with burrata and condensed tomato sauce made to be the essence of Sicilian tomatoes (2) culatello with pistachio and (3) porchetta with spicy olives. The choice was not easy, but everyone was satisfied. The pizza dough is probably made with wholemeal flour, very tasty but hard to eat in one go, we had to ask for a box to take one home. Definitely recommendable.

Tiny restaurant, tucked away off a Main Street in Licata recommended by a local. Really friendly and fun staff. No menu, just an explanation of what we would get, though we werenât really sure what that was going to be except we would get fish. It turned out to be share plates of prawns, octopus, muscles, Mediterranean vegetables - all delicious!Local beer and wine.

In the heart of the city centre, Cantunera is both a bistrot and a café: this means you can drink or eat at any time. Also, we love music and arts, so come to discover a little part of Sicily's soul though our little dreamy corner.
Best service. Best wines and drinks. The Tiramisu is the best, I have ever eat. The steaks are delicious. We will come back

For lunch or dinner, the restaurant offers a cuisine with specialties based on fresh local fish and selected fine meats. In the evening you can taste a pizza cooked in a stone oven with wisdom ready to delight your palate. Local site 3 km from the histori

We came without reservation to the then empty restaurant and were given a nice table on the terrace. Soon after, the place filled. The starters were delicious. The main dishes very nicely prepared. They serve local, Sicilian beer (delicious) and have a big wine list, however we did not check on that. Service was very nice and we had a lot of fun with my "Spatialiano" with the host.

Intendiamo invitare i nostri gentili ospiti ad immergersi per una sera nella riscoperta degli antichi sapori della Cucina tradizionale siciliana con particolare attenzione a quella Licatese in un piccolo locale scelto appositamente per creare un atmosfera
Fresh food prepared to a daily menu. Fully explained by the waiter. A great opportunity to try traditional Sicilian food sourced locally. Well prepared and presented. Go along with an open mind and your in for a treat. Moderately priced too. Opens around 8 and limited seating available

Random stop with my 2 friends in a motorbike road trip round Sicily. Despite us looking like street urchins in leathers, this restaurant welcomes us with open arms. We told them what we wanted and they adjusted the tasting menu to suit our tastes. Every dish was amazing but the thin mini pizza style starter and the fluffy mozzarella were special. I canât say enough good things about the service and food . A must try if youâre in the region

We went yesterday in this Bar Restaurant (upstairs) and want to eat something. It was empty and there were 4 people working and cleaning. We sat and asked if we can have dinner also downstairs. The woman said we should wait the waiter is coming to us. But we waited and waited and they still were more interested to clean the gelati bar then to serve customers (we were the only one). After minutes another waiter said to ask us what we want but it was to late for us. So we went away. I don't know if the bar is good but in this case I wouldn't recommend it.
