Very nice ambience for drinks and tapas. The Catena Malbec was very good. Our manhattan cocktails had a bitterness that was atypical. Tapa entrees were good: cerviche atun, empanadas de Argula, tostada de cangrejo y aguacate. This is an enjoyable venue for friendly gatherings.

This restaurant has been a Woodside standard for more than ten years and no one yet has reviewed it?! It is small, with 8 or 10 tables, plus a bar room. The food is gourmet quality from a limited menu (squid ink pasta! Where else do you find this?). The bread is fresh baked with onion highlights and served with two saucesâfor us, roasted eggplant and roasted tomato. The wine list is adequate but not extensive (no Rieslings). The meat is high quality and the appetizers are appealing but a little bland. We had no time for dessert. The waiters are attentive, but the service is sssslllllooooooowwww! We waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes after arrival for our entree and the place was only 2/3 full. The food is excellent for the most part, but the slow service limited the tip and our rating. We would try it again, if only for the creative menu.

I was early for lunch and there were hardly any people in the restaurant. We ordered chicken enchiladas and shrimp quesadillas--they were delicious! And by the time we left, it was full with everyone enjoying delicious Mexican food. Service was excellent and prices are reasonable--we'll be back!

Try the lobster roll (packed full with delicious lobster chunks). Both, the white New England clam chowder and red Manhattan clam chowder are packed with clams (not all potatoes). The calamari and fish and chips are fried to perfection. Delicious food casual atmosphere. Sometimes has a long line to order, but worth the wait.

Crab season just started and Cook's has the best crab that I can find, unless I'm on the coast and able to get to a harbor when the crab boats are coming in.
