The catfish was better than Harborside and the Port. My fish and chips was a good size and tasty. Love the decor as well. Great lunch selection and prices.
These nice people just moved to a new location, and are very much worth seeking out. The food is EXCELLENT! The service is very personal and pleasant. This is a carry-away restaurant, with no seating, so plan a wonderful dinner at home. And the prices are AMAZING! $5 buys a full lunch!

Stopped by with a family member and had dinner. I had the shrimp cooked my way and my sister had another type of shrimp dinner. Both were good. Our salads came out first and they were fresh and also very good. The waitress that we had, and I don't remember her name, was very friendly and took good care of us. All in all a good experience at this location.Thank you for giving the Winter Haven Red Lobster 4 stars, TB149, we look forward to giving you a 5 star experience next time.

My husband and I were in the Winter Haven area for a memorial service. We looked at several restaurants menus and decided on Tanners since I love crab cakes. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits. He loved it. We shared a wilted spinach bacon salad. It was good, but not the best Iâve had. I ordered the crab cakes, which came with an aioli type drizzle with horseradish in it. There was plenty of crab with a very light breading. Delicious! Probably in the top five that Iâve had in Florida.

Polk County's Premier Waterfront Restaurant.
Had dinner after hearing about its great location on a lake. To be fair we're from Pennsylvania where lakes tend to be larger and a bit more scenic. However, based on our year here in Florida its still a nice lake location. The view is nice - not spectacular but nice. Our meals were good and our service was good. Its not what we'd consider fine dining but it was a good meal. Portions were good. We'd go back.

What a dump. Canât believe this place gets the reviews it does, it shows the lack of good options in and around Winter Haven. Boring menu, horrible cigarette smell, slow service, and a bar full of the local drunks most of the time. Jessica, ScottYou must have us confused with some other establishment. We have been non smoking for over two decade and recently got new floors and new paint so no smoke smell here. Also we have a very small bar (4 seats) and honestly no real âbar crowdâ so non of the locals you speak of hang out here. Our menu and service are consistently well received thus the outstanding reviews.
