My wife's plan was to find local restaurants that provided great food and a great atmosphere. She found them both right here. You should call ahead for reservations and for balcony seating. The beverage is a Brazilian Old Fashion. Edamame is nicely spicy with mint leaves and seemingly no salt. Really tasty spicy Tofu. I am not sure of the seafood dish, but my ordered it and thought it was great as well. This was our second visit and I can't wait for the next.

Thames Landing Oyster House brings fresh authentic seafood, raw oysters, soups, burgers, wraps, tacos, steak, and pasta dishes to New Londonâs Water Park district.
This is a newly reopened restaurant in downtown. The positives are a nicely decorated interior with some lovely window nook seating areas. The dishes we had, lobster and crab ravioli and chicken Alfredo, were outstanding. The side salad was crisp and fresh with great flavor dressing. Service was quick and prompt although it was pretty empty of patrons at that time. The wine pourings are a generous amount for the price. On the down side, it is unfortunate that there is minimal water view for a waterfront restaurant. Unlike previous owners, there is no upstairs seating which would allow for a view. Also, they need to be more competitive on their happy hour prices if they are going to survive. Fifty cents off a glass of wine or one dollar off beer is not very competitive with other area places. The bathroom was under construction so not in the best shape. Playing some nice jazz music would also help. The place has potential but needs a little more pizazz to really make it special and to match the very good food.

One of my favorite places to grab a cold beer, some shucked clams and/or oysters and some fried belly clams. Have been faithful for last 15 years. But it needs a bit of TLC. Improvements in the port-a-johns....nice improvement over last couple years. But the upper deck tables are delaminating, and where have all the umbrellas gone? With so few umbrellas the sun fries your patrons and my cold PBR warms up to non drinkable in 5 minutes. Really still like the grilled fish ruben, but please bring back the fried pickles. Will continue to come to watch the happenings at the inlet ilof the niantic River, but please kick it back up a notch. Don't want to come out of obligation... But because the food, drinks and scenery are one of a kind. Please make me love you agsin.

We went to Dev's for tapas on Valentines Day. The food is incredible and the price is right! Everything we had was awesome. The ribs had a wonderful smoky flavor, the beer cheese fries tasted gourmet, the Scooter melt was delicious- it had flavors I would never expect to go together. The Red Dragon Noodle Bowl was to die for. It really stole the show. The flavors are authentic and are presented beautifully. I highly suggest the cheesesteak bruschetta also. Honestly everything we had was a home run. The decor is modern, clean, and the ambiance was comfy and upscale. The owner came to every table and chatted without being overbearing. She even gave us a hug before we left, what a sweet woman- she truly enhanced our visit. This really is a hidden gem in New London, and I can't wait to go back this weekend for brunch.

The quality of your dish will depend directly on the chief who works at kitchen. We visited this restaurant four times, impressions of the first three were above any praises. The fourth time disappointed us. My linguini were, almost, shipped in oil, and tomatoes were sour. It is sad that one unsuccessful time spoiled the previous impressions of visit of restaurant. I do not recommend to take a dessert - the woman who prepares them the hot fan of sugar))

A small restaurant with big flavor & great service. The chef came to our table and asked if we enjoyed the food. We did - from start to finish.

On a raw misty evening we found our usual favorites closed for the season and Trip Advisor lead us here. It being a Monday we had our choice of seats and we were greeted quickly. Our drink orders taken we perused the menu which contained mostly Italian items, but also included Greek, seafood and traditional items. My wife had baked haddock 6 large pieces with salad and baked potato. I had liver served with bacon and onions salad and baked potato. All portions were huge, enough for several meals at home. With some protein the salads would be enough for a meal! A great neighbor hood restaurant, not far off the main drag. Thanks Trip Advisor

Went here for lunch. Food is really really good! Very tasty. Veggies are fresh and crunchy and not over cooked! Theyâve lunch special which cost $10. Comes with soup or salad and the main dish. Serving is good enough for 1 person. When we went there sushi was not available. Thereâs construction in the area so a bit confusing as to where the restaurant is. But we found the place!
