Very sad, we have eaten here twice before each time it was brilliant, both my wife and I were looking forward to our third visit, just two months after our last. What a let down! My starter was good however my wife's fish soup was stone cold not even warm, that went back to be reheated which took about two minutes so microwaved! My main course was supposed to be a local take on Bouillabaisse, it was pieces of various types of fish in the same fish soup as my wife's now way was the fish cooked in the broth which it should be and tasted of nothing. My wife's main of Tuna was tough. Desserts were very good as they always have been. Everything else rubbish! They knew we were not happy but no word of apology, I am very sorry and will think twice about visiting again. Certainly before I do I will have a conversation with them!

I literally won't change a thing, this place is perfect. Simple and unpretentious, the restaurant is based just outside the charming village or Mornac, in the middle of the oyster ponds. The menu is very basic and includes a small number of fresh seafood type of produce, all incredibly fresh. The prices are very competitive, and accompanied by some fresh chips and a great selection of local wines, it's the sort of place that makes you feel glad to be alive. The decor too is simple, unassuming and attractive in its practicality. We've been told they serve huge gambas from 14 July onwards so if this experience can at all be better, consider coming after that date. We'll be back, regularly.

Great location, overlooking the sea, great beach, service excellent, food excellent, what more do you want, English spoken, if you need it, try the Tapas starter, just enough if you want a quick meal, lobster is also on the menu, expensive, yes, but it will be fresh (its in a tank, just pick the one you want!!) in general, a very good restaurant with great service.

We visited at lunch time on Sunday when it was reasonably busy. We took a table outside under the magnificent tree that forms part of the canopy. My meal of salmon gravlax and salad was delicious. My husband's burger was less so. Grey looking meat in an untoasted supermarket bun. Deserts were very nice and well presented. I paid the bill and waited for my change. And waited......eventually I called the waitress and she brought the change immediately. I don't know whether she thought the â¬5 was a tip, forgot about it or whatever.

The only negative was the sole my friend had-too many bones. They should have offered her another entree. Mama had duck which she enjoyed and I had grilled tuna. The frites were delicious. The waiter was very friendly and polite.

Just round the bay, on the beach, at St Palais. Friendly staff serving good food and wine. A view to savour from the deck.

Having spent the morning in Palais, we decided to have our lunch at The Corniche. We both chose Moules. They came with fries and lovely crusty seeded bread. The house wine accompanied the meal well and was delicious. All staff very friendly and were patient with my French. Dessert was a crepe which again was freshly cooked and really hit the spot. We holiday every year near Palais and will definitely return. Thank you for looking after us.

I was expecting great things based on other reviews and while good it was not exceptional. Service was fine, location is nice, venue is pleasant. Value for dollar was not there. 6 Euro per scallop is expensive by any standard and significantly more than nearby restaurants.Bonjour et merci pour votre récent avis. Thanks for your recent advice and for your venue.Les prix vous ont semblé élevés ...Prices seems to be high according to you ...Nous essayons de proposer le meilleur rapport qualité/prix.We try to offer the best quality/price level.Cordialement.Kind regards.
