Reviews on Seafood food in Vancouver, Washington, United States. Steeped in history, Vancouver is the oldest city in Washington. Once the largest western outpost of the British Hudson's Bay Company, where supplies and food were bartered in the 1800s, it was closed in 1860 as Americans took over commerce. The outpost was later recreated as the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. For more history, check out the Pearson Air Field, the oldest operating airfield in the West, where vintage aircraft are displayed at the Pearson Air Museum. If adventure is your bag, Vancouver is the perfect base for day trips to the Columbia River Gorge, the breathtakingly beautiful 70-mile river stretch that cuts through the Cascade Mountains, or Mount St. Helens, the site of the famous volcano, both of which offer a slew of outdoor activities. For calmer pastimes, cruise the picturesque river in the Columbia Gorge riverboat, or visit Beacon Rock, the world's second largest monolith, where a walking trail leads to spectacular panoramic views.

Joe's Crab Shack brings fresh seafood, authentic flavors and Southern coastal flair to locations all across America. Joe's menu features crab, fish, lobster, mussels, clams and shrimp.
The restaurant has free parking. It is a typical Joe's Crab Shack family style seafood restaurant. The decor is nautical. There is full bar service and patio dining available. The location overlooks the Columbia River. There is also a souvenir shop near the entrance. When I visited they were crazy busy. In spite of that the service was good and the food was excellent. That is, with one exception--there was an error on my order.

up-scale sea food chain in Oregon and Washington
Three in our party. We ordered shrimp appetizer, clam chowder, Asian chicken salad, herb-crusted salmon salad. Everything was beautiful, fresh and delicious. They are not flexible with the menu. You have to be 12 or younger to order off the children's menu; no exceptions. The salads are HUGE and smaller portions are not an option. The server brought the wrong type of tea and and delivered crackers but forgot the chowder. This was easily resolved. She is very sweet; just having an off day. Suggest eating early or late to avoid the crowd. This place is popular because it's so good and very nice, fun ambiance.

This restaurant is just off the highway where you would expect mediocre food but the food here was delicious and quickly and expertly prepared. Very friendly staff and excellent service. There is no alternative to sushi however so all in the party must want that. Lunch specials are not available on Saturday or Sunday and the food is pricey.

WildFin American Grill is your neighborhood restaurant, casual, affordable with a comfortable sense of style. WildFin is the place where friends and family gather to eat, drink and share lifeâs occasions. A safe adventure, a warm haven on a cool Northwest
Celebrating a birthday with a friend. Our server was fabulous, friendly, totally knew the menu. He joked around with the birthday girl. All the items we ate, and there were a few! appetizer, main meal and dessert....well, it was a birthday! We each had a cocktail and weren't sure we would be able to drive afterwards. Wonderful and strong...no one orders a drink and wants the mixer :) My salmon salad was wonderful. Nice crisp lettuce and fresh salmon. The birthday girl had fish tacos and loved them. Finally we finished up "sharing" the chocolate cake! Location, Location, Location......WildFin has it all!

The best seafood and steak restaurant in Portland isn't downtown, it's on the Columbia River.
Saltyâs on the Columbia Restaurant, where we had a fantastic dinner, is located at 3839 NE Marine Dr., Portland, Oregon (503-288-4444). We donât know if lunches are served, but suspect that only dinners are served because they offer exceptional cuisine, service & atmosphere, Saltyâs is often the place chosen to celebrate special occasions, in this case a birthday. The restaurant provides both indoor and summertime outdoor dining. And being alongside the Columbia River, a delightful view is provided. Also wine, beer and cocktails are available via the restaurantâs bar.Parking is convenient and roomy. The buildingâs exterior and interior architecture are particularly stylish in keeping that nautical feel that one is âon the Riverâ rather than "next to the River."Now about the food! It was excellent - well prepared, elegantly presented and delicious. The menu offers an exceptional array to choose from with a particular emphasis on âsurf & turfâ.Prices are somewhat high, but of course, maybe in line for fine dining in a classy restaurant. But if a bargain meal is on your radar, this is the wrong restaurant. And the service â it was outstanding. We were seated quickly though we had made reservations. Service was professional and friendly which made it a fun dinner. And our server kept checking to make sure that our meals were as expected as well as to see if we had other needs requiring further service. And best yet, we were never rushed.Again, the food and the service as well as the atmosphere will bring us back repeatedly as that is where value for a fun dining experience is establish. Go for fine dining at its best on the River - especially to celebrate special events!!

On Hayden Island, thereâs something wonderful besides bridges and boats floating in the water: the Island Cafe. Our vibrant decor and lively team will quickly transport you from Portland to paradise. And our open dining room overlooks the marina and is fi
We stopped by this restaurant for dinner on our way into Portland. It is on an island and the restaurant is floating on a dock. There was a wait but they had seating for those who were waiting and it was a great place to enjoy the fresh air after a long drive. We enjoyed watching the geese and ducks swimming around the marina and the boats coming and going.Once we were seated our waitress was prompt and friendly. She answered our questions about menu items and did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed. Our family of four ordered a variety of items including a Hawaiian burger, fish and chips, fish tacos, and a lobster roll. All items were fresh and delicious. The portions were plentiful. We also took a couple slices of key lime pie to our hotel to eat later. The waitress had packaged everything in containers so the whipped cream and limes would not melt on the way. Definitely recommend! We couldn't be happier that you and the family were able to enjoy a little bit of everything off our menu! When you're traveling, sometimes the best moments are enjoying the simple moments by the water, watching the geese go by as you enjoy a great meal with those you love. We were more than happy to answer all your questions and make sure you got exactly what you were craving. If you ever find yourselves in Portland again, we'd love to have you back for another memorable meal with the family. Take care, Island Cafe Team

Enjoyed Happy Hour Beverages and Light Dinner while visiting our children in Vancouver. SUPERB Service by Ikaezia!!! She was very efficient in taking both our drink and inner orders as we had our grandsons (age 16 months) with us in the bar. Beverages arrived within minutes and our dinners came out 10 minutes later - nice and hot. All had an enjoyable time!!
