Beside the quality of clients, all drunk and talking loud and loud, we have experienced a very terrible service. Waitresses were always talking and chatting, and never taking care of the hall. They were not even poring wine or beer. In the end, we'll never come back !

From 25 January 1979, the Marquis Family welcomes in a timely, discreet and professional guests in La Taverna della Rocca, the restaurant is ideal for those who want to enjoy typical cuisine of the place, and not only, choosing from dishes of meat, fish o
The place where the restaurant is situaded is really nice because it's near a kind of castle. Moreover, if you like, you can have your lunch or dinner watching an extraordinary panorama. The dishes are literally delicoius and well presented.I have no words to describe how much tasteful the desserts are.Even wines are perfectly chosen for what you eat.If you are lucky, at the end of the meal, you can enjoy a special french fruity cognac. At the end the waiters are really nice and professional.I have to say that I was there as guest so I don't have idea about the prices.

We came across this restaurant by chance. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with the menu. The pasta with porcini (mushroom) was delicious and so was the chicken with rocket and tomatoes. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in this area, especially after shopping at Barberino Outlet Shops. It's only about 10-15 minute drive.

We met the owners/chefs when they prepared a private dinner in our rented villa in Prato, and enjoyed 4 lovely Tuscan dishes. Next time we wanted to hire them, they invited us instead to their restaurant. You´ll probably need a GPS to find the location; it´s in a private residential area, so it´s easier to park outside. There are a few stores on the first floor of the complex, but most of them are still empty. The place is full of surprises, with a different style in every room. The kind owner gave us a tour to see the cellars, caves and ruins of and old miller, that gave the place the name of "The hundred holes". Being an "enoteca", they also offer a wide variety of nice wines.

Four of us enjoyed a 3 hour three course lunch at this beautiful establishment. Very much out of the way of the tourist trail as evidenced by us being the only English speakers and no English menus. Didn't matter as my daughter is an expert in the language. You can eat inside or outside on the deck overlooking the hills and mountains. I rarely find that 4 people each sing the praises of their main course at the one time. This happened here. Dishes ranged from Venison, very tender, to the best sea bass, full of flavour, moist and perfectly presented with sliced potatoes and mushrooms. Others included slow cooked pork which was voted excellent, and pigeon which was delectable. Appetisers included scallops and a flan of artichokes and seafood sauce. Deserts were all top notch. This place is a winner. Good food and great wine list, including our favourites from Avignonesi winery.

My sister in law brought us to this restaurant as she is a local and strongly recommended. My brother in law was under the weather and couldn't join us but it also is a favorite of his. Must say it didn't disappoint. The service was outstanding. You don't have to worry if you don't speak Italian. They will take care of you. Good beer selection as well. My son was ill and we had to bring him take out. He really liked his spaghetti. My daughter that it was the best she has so far. A must choice if you are In the area.

We were recommended this restaurant by the owners of the house we were renting. Therefore, it was a big letdown and probably the worst food experience we had in our one week in Tuscany. The starters were quite good, as it was mainly Parma ham and bruschetta. The mains, we ordered fish, chicken and BBQ ribs were a total disaster. The ribs were overlooked and very dry. The fish not cooked. The chicken was dry. On top of that, they forgot to bring one dish. We passed on dessert and payed the bill. Then swore never to come back.

The Ghirighio is a restaurant nestled in Valdibisenzio. The furniture in chestnut and a rustic, but ricerato, make the climate warm and welcoming. Our cuisine combines the traditional Tuscan cuisine, linked to local products, all 'innovation and research
Nice located restaurant situated up the hill next to the road to the small town of Migliana in Cantagallo. We had both homemade pasta, risotto and filet. All was delicious cooked and served with a smile. The chef of the kitchen can translate the Italian menu card into English and help you if you have any questions. The suggested wine complimented our food. For dessert we had "Flan con ciocolata bianco". Absolute perfect!Worth a visit!!!

We visited this restaurant on a visit in Tuscany in june 2019. And what a treat this has proven to be. Attentative staff, excellent food and wine, nice ambiance. I highly recommend this if you like sea food.
