Close to our hotel and looked nice enough. Seated quickly. Drinks were slow. Mixed drinks were weak. Food was fast and hot. Hope it comes out right because you wonât see your server again. Ate food with no drink. Finally was able to order a drink and it took forever. Not impressed.

Our server was very kind and attentive. Drinks and food came out quickly. Crab cakes and scallops were good. Baked potatoes needed about 15-20 more minutes. Too hard. Steamed veggies were so steamed they were falling apart on the plate. More like boiled. Probably sitting in hot water to stay warm. Not the best place in the area but definitely not the worst.

I can only talk about the shrimp, lightly breaded and fried and blackened on grits. Very nice. The service was good. We ate outside. Heard it is a great place for sunsets, but we were lunch. Fun halloween decor.

Serving handmade drinks and the freshest seafood in Savannah, we celebrate the best sunset views Tybee Island has to offer nightly.
This restaurant is located on the highway to Tybee Island. It is one of the few food stops along the way. Brightly colored, the surroundings look great and I was very hopeful going in. The restaurant wasn't busy, possibly two/three other tables but there was no greeter and no servers to be seen. We waited I'd say ten minutes then a guy showed up and helped get us seated. Drinks came out slowly and they didn't check back on us for a while. The food was also unimpressive; we tried the crab soup (don't do it!!). It was terrible - oily broth and bland with a few tiny chunks of crab. I would say a waste of crab meat quite honestly. The fries with the main course was unseasoned, and the remainder of the food was edible but not worthy of review. To recap - food and service, two stars at most. This restaurant is a "skip-it"

When we planned this trip to Tybee, The Crab Shack was a must. Last time I visited, we ate there 2 nights in a row... it was that delicious. This time, I was a little disappointed. The crab legs and shrimpWere Amazing as always!! But everyone in our party that got potatoes noticed they were not fully cooked. We couldnât eat them. And had to askfor drink refills. Every. Time. And thatâs after the server spilled cups of ice water on 2 ladies in our party. We had a nice time and will go back, but it was just not up to their usual standard.Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad that you enjoyed our unique ambiance and our shrimp and Alaskan Snow crab, but we are terribly sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the service you received, as we always wish for our guests to have an exceptional experience. Bubba Gumbo's is a family owned and operated business. We are a waterfront restaurant located on historic Lazaretto Creek on Tybee Island. All our seafood is local caught and served fresh to you. We are family friendly and also offer boat parking!
As many reviews have said, pulling up to this place behind old boat storage will make you wonder but it was great! We had excellent service and fresh seafood. My husband got the catch of the day and I got shrimp both steamed and fried and all was just wonderful.

Right now Gerald is updating the restaurant so watch for his reopening. A unique spot on a truly unique island. Gerald's restaurant on the main highway has a truly incredible menu. It might well be the best shrimp on Tybee plus the poorboy'sare exceptional. Also Gerald's catering is first rate.

The atmosphere is nice and clean. The food is amazing. We ended up eating there two days in a row because it was that good!! Me and my daughter both had the buffalo shrimp wraps and they were delicious. The serving size was big enough to have leftovers!!

Quaint local establishment under a giant angel oak tree serving Lowcountry cuisine with a Southern flair! Indoor and outdoor seating! Daufuskie islands only 5 bubble restaurant!
With small metal tables sitting under trees on the lawn and an unassuming curb appeal, you wouldnât expect an incredible seafood joint but thatâs just what Lucy Bellâs is. When you walk in to a small counter with a single guy behind it, you may think âhow can this place be the bestâ. Order the deviled crab, the shrimp dip and the grouper sandwich and you will be transported to a happy place. the shrimp tacos were also great. We frequent Hilton Head Island where there are great restaurants but nothing this simple, delicious, fresh and at a great price. We are still talking about it days later. Definitely stop by!! Thank you so much for posting this flattering review and are pleased that you tried a variety of our dishes that exude our Southern influences on cuisine! Come back soon!
