This is the main restaurant of Le Gouverneur hotel in Trois-Rivières. Lunch wasn't busy at all - in fact the place looked closed. However, we were promptly stated. Food was very good - grilles sandwich with roastbeef and mushrooms was fantastic, as was the onion soup. Mussles - ok. Crème brûler - very good. Service was warm and friendly, though the server was quite paying attention to what we were asking (e.g. brought a bowl instead of a plate). Price was quite decent - just over $50 for the above lunch. For a nice hotel restaurant this was better than expected.

Well, I see that some people have posted a photo which is farthest from the truth. The plates are full, the food is decent, you wont leave this restaurant hungry, the service is always excellent but the atmosphere is cacauphonic. Bring your own wine and enjoy a good valued meal.

Wow just Wow, perfect short menu, fantastic gravlax, right on the water with the sun setting, perfect escape after work
If you are looking for a sweet little spot to do laundry, check your email and get a coffee, this is perfect. They deserve every accolade for being friendly, and have awards for social innovation which they deserve. We felt welcomed as English speakers in Francophone Quebec and were made to feel at home, and were thrilled to find such a lovely spot.
