It is situated on the side of the canal opposite the Le Boat quay. The outside sitting area is basic and unattractive compared to neighbouring restaurants. However, on the evening we were there, it was a little on the chilly side so we sat inside where again the decor etc was a little on the basic side. We also felt the appearance of the serving staff left a little to be desired given their attire could be improved. However, we were there for the food and it was good!For starters, one of us had bulots (whelks), two had the prawns while the remaining one had the anchovy salad. All drew positive comments.For mains, 2 of the party had Brill which was really liked, another tuna steak which was cooked as expected but was too large to actually eat it all while the final one was red mullet which was OK but not great. However, overall, the mains were enjoyed.A bottle of Picpoul rounded things of nicely so all in all, we enjoyed our visit.So, would we recommend? We walked from Carcassonne marina (1.5 miles) to this restaurant which is in an unlikely and unattractive setting. But, on entering the garden and meeting the staff were immediately enchanted with it. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, we had lamb and mixed fish dishes, followed by cheese selection and then a sweet. The house red and white wines were both pleasant. When the temperature dropped slightly the staff were generous with blankets for any who needed them and our overall experience was wonderful.All at a surprisingly low price.Highly recommended!

The food was really nice,juicy tasty burgers and fries,the sauces,the wine,the atmosphere,everything was spot on.And I was also very impressed with two of the lovely waitresses,one was very helpful explaining the French menu to us.If your in the mood for an excellent burger then donât miss this place.

Very good fish restaurant that's worth a visit. The 20 E menu won't disappoint and other options are worth exploring. There's also a very good duck that is recommended. No specific children's menu but balance that against drinkable 0.5 l pichet at 5E and you'll have a great meal.
