This will be our second time dining at the Blue Mermaid, on both occasions the food was excellent and service was great, you won't be disappointed, its a bit pricy but then again they don't throw you out the door either, sit and enjoy your dinner. If its your first time the Owner might offer you the best seat in the house which is in the very back beside the kitchen door and inline with the servers desk, maybe you get your food faster I don't know this for sure but thats what we got on our second visit, great guy smiled at us when we left.

Nice little place with some tables for four, clean but not fancy. Owner is a lovely jolly fellow who makes friends easy. He a pleasant Armenian man you will like.We had 1 pc haddock and chips $9.49 and it was all cooked really nice. Shwarma is excellent.We ate in today and it was HOT, NO A/C Working up there in area this week so I will go back for lunch.

First of all, out waitress was excellent! She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had 3 appetizers between the two of us and 2 entrees. The food was cooked to perfection. I have read some reviews that complained of the high prices. It is expensive to source high quality ingredients. I do have to agree that the portions are small. Iâm a big guy and we did not have lunch. It would have been nice to have a big scoop of cauliflower purée rather than a smear. The appetizers could also be a bit bigger. The bottom line was that the food tasted great and was cooked by an excellent chef to perfection. Thank you for the delicious food and excellent service!
