If you are visiting Asuka area and staying near Yamato-Yagi station in Nara, this izakaya restaurant might be the best option for your dinner. This region is a bit far from the sea but you can enjoy very good seafood such as sashimi and tempura with reasonable price. Also, you will find various selections of Japanese sake. As located at just under the station, you will not miss the final train even if you drink too much. I recommend you to reserve the table as this restaurant is always very crowded.

The 100USD++ course meal brings a crab-lover a piece of heaven! Different varieties of crab are served in different ways-- sushi, tempura, nama with caviar, grilled, etc. in elegant private rooms by well-trained staff. Been here thrice, and i see myself coming back. Highly recommendable.Tip: Consider taking home cans of crab fat, or sachets of crab porridge powder.
