Reviews on Seafood food in Swansea, United Kingdom. Birthplace of poet Dylan Thomas, and the second-largest city in Wales, resilient Swansea offers a slew of leafy parks and some impressive cultural centers, including the new National Waterfront Museum and the renowned Dylan Thomas Centre. Rebuilt after WWII, the modern city of 230,000 has a charming outlook over Swansea Bay and the picturesque, unspoiled 16-mile-long Gower Peninsula, home to rich wildlife, prehistoric standing stones, dramatic cliffs and lovely beaches.

Open during spring & summer months; March-September Inspired by travels in Italy. We will bring you some mouth watering weekend specials, plus a regular menu
Walking the dog along the Mumbles promenade after midday and looking for a bite to eat and happened back across this little gem. If youâve read other reviews youâll see my wife and I love seafood so this looked to be the ideal spot for an alfresco lunch. We previously shared a dressed crab here but theyâd run out so we had Frito Misto with chilli jam instead which was delicious. Great friendly owner, 5/5 food hygiene rating, the freshest seafood and the best view over Swansea bay to eat in front of - what more can you ask?

This is an excellent and reasonably authentic Italian eatery. It is comfortably set out and nicely decorated without people being too much on top of each other. The staff are cheerful and helpful and bring out the food and drink efficiently and quickly but you never feel that you are being hurried along. The only real negative is the lack of a disabled toilet (the regular ones provided are too low and there are no supporting rails).

The meals were nice but nothing to write home about. The sides were better than the main (price as well as taste). They had run out of 3 of our first choices (mussels, squid & halloumi). Overall expensive meal but the drinks were ridiculously pricey.

Had lunch here with friends. We chose off the lunchtime set menu. Mussels to start were tasty, but needed some bread for the sauce. Belly pork was so tender, but the crackling was soggy. Two of our group had the orange cheesecake for dessert- one loved it, one was unimpressed. A lovely setting overlooking the marina, but it was so noisy in there that it was difficult to have a conversation. Also need to turn the heating on as it was a little chilly. Dear Jayne!Thank you for choosing to lunch with us and thank you for your review. We are always trying to improve and we take all suggestions on board. We are very glad you enjoyed mussels, our seafood is our pride. We are indeed based in the most beautiful location, so weâre happy you enjoyed the views. If you decide to visit us again, please mention to our staff that youâd like to sit in more quiet and less busy area.We hope to see you soon!Best regards, El Pescador
