Seafront location opposite side of the bay to Enigma bar
We've been coming to Stoupa for years, but have never tried this restaurant. On recommendation we tried it this time.Whilst there was nothing wrong, there was also nothing outstanding. The service was very friendly and pleasant and the food was simple and tasty. A great setting, right above the waters edge, which would possibly tempt us back again.

Unless things have changed since I was In Stoupa in July i fear for the future of the 3 fabulous Restaurants in Halikoura, which is less than 2minutes walk from the main Stoupa beach and all its "popular" bars and Restaurants. The Restaurants of Galios, Marias and Halikoura were virtually empty most of the time yet all of them and the area itself are truly Greek, and serve some of the best and varies Greek food you are likely to find............Seemingly the Brits in particular want to frequent the " made for the Brits" bars like Stakies and Mango as an example and whilst there is absolutely nothing wrong with them they do miss out on a really Greek experience. Galios and Halikoura are typically blue table Greek places overlooking a small beach and the sea whilst Marias is a quirky little Restaurant serving what I can only describe as Marias specials...absolutely delicious!I have spoken to holiday makers who dont even know Halikoura and its Restaurants actually exists yet as I said it is less than 2 minutes walk from the main beach of Stoupa, around the corner to the real Greece.I dont think this year is any different to previous years for Halikoura and perhaps it changes when the Greeks arrive in August but it does seem to me that the Brits in particular prefer to be in the made for Brits Bars and do not really go to Stoupa to experience Greece, rather sit with other Brits talking about how many Tablets they are on and how manu times they have been to Stoupa (not Halikoura)Halikoura and its Restaurants really is a case of use it or loose it........Go on visit it and long may it survive. Visited on the 30th July Ordered cheese pasta for my daughter off the childrenâs menu. Completely over cooked pasta with visible brown burnt pieces in it ( this was spaghetti) Cheese was grated and stuck to the top. No sauce. Dry. Burnt. Rubbery. My daughter didnât eat it. My son ordered chicken schnitzel. Not very good. Hardly abd breadcrumb coating. Was soggy. He didnât eat it either. Did not complain. But when waiter came to collect it, he asked if everything was ok? I politely explained my daughter wouldnât eat the pasta as it was burnt and over cooked. He tutted and stormed off. Very rude! And to add insult to injury they tried to overcharge us by â¬13 Luckily my husband is eagle eyed and spotted it. Average meal. Burnt food that should not have been sent out from the kitchen. Elderly grumpy staff that need a refresher on customer service skills. Will not be returning. Ever.

With its elevated position Pefko provides not only a lovely view but an airy, cool feel. It is very popular and despite being busy we found an excellent table and the service was quick and efficient. The food was very good, everything was fresh, well prepared and presented. The complimentary drink and cake were a nice touch too. Very enjoyable.

This restaurant is English friendly. Great food and super service.Greek salad is always fresh.... Aubergine salad is plentiful and delicious.. Don't order too much as portions are in abundance. Price is moderate considering its right on the beach.. They also allow you to use their even if you are not seated. Bravo! Many thanks

Unfortunately, after rediscovering this restaurant in 2017, this year's visit was a disappointment. The prawns in bacon startet was overcooked and flavours unbalanced (too much bacon around each prawn and slightly burnt in places). I was still eating my starter when the main course was brought to the table, which is poor service and not the laid back Greek approach we know and love. Main of pork belly again tasted over charred. The menu is limited compared to other Stoupa restaurants too.

We could not have a visit to Stoupa without going to this restaurant. Kostas and his lovely family always give us such a warm welcome. We visited twice on our week in Stoupa both times the food was excellent. I had fish on one visit and moussaka on the second. The moussaka at Kalogria is special. Husband had souvlaki and second visit pork in lemon sauce.

This taverna is located on Kalogria beach which is a short walk from main Stoupa. From the moment you arrive, Panos and his team will make you welcome and ensure that you have a great dining experience. They genuinely care about the food they serve and your opinion of the place and anything you feel can be improved. I had grilled tuna on both visits - it was delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions are on the large side for me so I asked for half portion on my second visit and they obliged. I recommend this taverna without any hesitation.

Excellent fish and Greek salad for lunch today. All served with a stunning view and beach front position. Lovely service and good prices too. Very impressed - we will return to try out the rest of the menu soon.
