We d coded to give the restaurant a try after reading good reviews and we were not disappointed. We were promptly seated, the place was clean and busy. The Mac and cheese was to die for, tasty crawfish in a delicious well seasoned Mac and cheese. The onion rings were tasty as well. The red beans were not to our liking, but that is just a matter of taste and not seasoned the way we like. The shrimp and grits was a huge serving of grits with sautéed onions, red and green peppers, jalapeño and at least ten tender shrimp. My husband enjoyed the fried chicken and we took a piece of key lime pie home. The pie was more of a cheese cake and it was just ok. I definitely plan on returning to try the gumbo and other dishes.

In town for the weekend and came across this place. What a surprise. The bacon wrapped scallops in the mixed seafood grill will melt in your mouth. The shrimp diablo is fantastic. Lunch on a week day. Had catfish and clams. Cole slaw and Blackeyed peas were good. Breading on catfish slightly spicy. Hush puppies were slightly doughy in the middle. 3 piece dinner and large tea was $18.00. Their prices include tax. No cards, cash or check only. The food is good but overpriced in my opinion.

Stopped in at the Sundancer Grill on a quiet Sunday evening to take in the Sunset, a drink and some appetizers. Our party of three was unenthusiastic about the service (fairly sloppy, at best), the drinks (largely uninspired), the service (a tad bit slow, but also surly in the case of one server) and the apps (deep fried, as is much of the fare, but easily replicated at your local Applebeeâs or TGIFridayâs).
What a lucky find the Copperhead Grill was. Felt much admiration for the lady serving, who also took the orders, prepared the food and served it. No mean feat...It was well tasty and the beer was good too!
