Cucina giapponese creativa
Wen is located on one corner of a round-about in Vergiate. Apparently they have a second location in Gallarete. The decor and layout of the restaurant is really nice. Warm and cozy while also being zen and cool. There are several seating options available, including private rooms. The restaurant is super clean and well maintained. (spotless bathrooms)We ate at the Hibachi bar and were constantly entertained by a very skillful chef.First course was sushi, followed by a seafood/noodle dish prepared on the Hibachi bar, followed by desert. We shared a bottle of Pinot Noir.Food impressions:Sushi - Was very fresh, but very simple - no complexity. I really tried to find something on the sushi menu that looked complex, but couldn't.Hibachi prepared seafood noodle dish - Very tasty, but again, not too complex or daring.Pinot Noir - excellent wine choice to have a red with sushi - nice and light and well priced.Desert - very delicious. I wonder if they make their own deserts in-house?Overall, the food was delicious and fresh, but on the simple side.Service:Outstanding.....very attentive, efficient and engaging.Price (each) was 44 Euro

We went there without any reservation and had to wait a few minutes for a table. This is a typical local Italian restaurant and a pizza factory. Seems to be very popular for locals as well. The pizza is Italian style- thin, crispy with fantastic ingredients. Love the fresh ham and rucola salad on top. Had a starter, pizza, desert and 1/2 l of house wine for a really good price of 30⬠(for 2). Would always return to this place.Parking was a small issue.

The restaurant is really nice, you read the menu directly on a tablet and waiters were really nice. The starter was really good and well presented, salmon with truffles but the main course I chose was a bit disappointing: Korean gnocchi.... The tuna roll instead was really good. Overall I suggest it if you want to try something new.

New good restaurant for business dinner and special events
We back here this year after a very good meal last year. The pasta with pesto was seriously excellent and high quality. We had ordered a sliced ham dish which never came plus two pizzas. As soon as the pasta came the pizzas were on the table. While good, they seemed undercooked and good....The waiter never came back and we had to go to the front desk to pay....yes they charged us for the undelivered ham plate which we had to have them take off.It was an uneven night at best and when we had the chance to return the following week after another overnight at Malpensa, we passed.

We were staying at Castigni B&B and walked to this restaurant, attracted by their outside seating and good menu. Had an outstanding meal of salmon for one and sea bass for the other, both excellent and complemented by a very satisfactory liter of house white. Had the first item on the dessert menu, also outstanding. Finally the server was first rate. A nice surprise and a super last lunch in Italy.

We decided to have dinner on our last night in Italy at the is restaraunt recommended by our B& B. The pizza I had was excellent (4 Spagani - 4 season is english) which had ham, cheese, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts. Thin crust and delicious! My cousin was excited to find vegan options on the menu and was pleased with her first choice of a "frittata". Our waiter Matteo was great- friendly, funny and attentive. He suggested the Tiramisu for dessert and he didn't steer us wrong - it was delicious!

Had dinner at this place one night in May 2016. Food was not the best Italian I've tried, mass produced and not very refined, but staff were friendly and the garden quite pleasant. Very convenient if staying in Somma Lombardo to be near the airport.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Nice day, could have sat outside but chose to sit inside. Pleasant interior.Menu had a good selection and there was also a lunch menu available. Service was efficient. I had a mixed seafood dish which was both of good quality and size.Overall a good experience and will go back for dinner.

Decent Italian food in a great location relative to MXP and nearby hotels. Service a little brusque, but they were busy. Good prices, especially for their pizzas. Great alternative for dinner as compared to typically overpriced hotel restaurants. Thanks for your review.See you next time
