Well I was expecting to eat a lot more fish on this trip. Had plenty of delicious prawns but was hanging out for a nice freshly caught well cooked whole fish. And here it was at last. Very nice venue. Perhaps could remember the people sitting outside more often but it was a busy night

We visit this restaurant very frequently, cause everything here is very genuine.Such a quiet small place with a very good portion of food. The staff there they are all very friendly and helpful. As a main we took spaghetti Lobster which was out of this world! Obviously the most important thing overall is the food which was heavenly tasteful. Everything is so freshly prepared and the quality of food is 10 plus! The prices are very reasonable and affordable. I highly recommend this restaurant to all out there , its a big must to visit in Valletta.

Really authentic Italian food. Great service and a nice location on the side of the street with outdoor and indoor dining. Lots of seafood options, including fresh lobster linguine. Highlights for us included the carbonara, the pizza Napoli and the dough and seaweed balls with tempura vegetables.

Ristorante le majoliche nasce nel giugno 2015 con l'intenzione di portare con amore e passione la Buon cucina italiana (siciliana) a l'estero, con piatti tradizionali della propria terra.
My wife and I re-visited this restaurant for dinner. We shared the most tender carpaccio di polipo and my wife then had a lovely pasta allo scoglio while I ordered swordfish all' acqua pazza. The portions were most generous and the sauces were to die for. All this was washed down with a white Sicilian Catarratto. We ended the dinner with a cannolo (for me) and a pistacchio semi-freddo (for my wife). All for 80 Euros. No wonder the place was completely full with clients queuing outside for tables to become available. This restaurant is a must to visit BUT do make a reservation.

We hadnât booked. They had a table but only one chair. They borrowed a chair from the restaurant next door. Very nice, pleasant waiters. The fish was amazing. My husband had seafood spaghetti which was also excellent. If we were here longer would go back for another experience.Thank you so much for taking the time to share your positive experience at il- Malti! We're glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you again soon.

My girlfriend and I wanted to try this new place, we already knew the location since we have been living in Malta for a very long time and we love that spot of Corinthia Hotel. Everything was simply perfect from the booking, the very warm welcoming, the professional service (congrats to Nicolai and the sommelier which I donât remember the name), and the superb food. The chef came personally to our table explaining us about the degustation menu and telling us about every single dish. We are long time clients of the company, but this place overwhelmed the previous experiences with them. When we finished the main we had to skip the dessert since we were too full, and we asked to see Chef Yushi again to thank him personally for the amazing food experience! Very well done guy! Thumbs up!

We were in St Julian's Bay for just 1 week and wanted to try many of the top rated restaurants. We ate at Maltese Mama, Storie @ Sapori, Biancos, 1927, Wigiâs Kitchen, Le Majoliche and here. The good news is that they were all very good so if you are staying here you are pretty much guaranteed good food.In the face of some stiff competition we thought this restaurant was the best all round dining experience of our week. Excellent service, beautifully presented and delicious food, lovely setting in an outside courtyard â and good value too.We were given a complimentary amuse-bouche and shared a prawn starter which was amazing. My wife had a fillet steak which was beautifully cooked and I went for the oven baked fish of the day which was also excellent. All washed down with a very nice bottle of Primitivo. We didnât have room for desert! You should east here.

Great staff, very friendly, happy and helpful - 10 out of 10. Thatâs where it ends. Pasta with sword fish not too bad, quite flavoursome but only average , definitely not more than a 3 star. Grilled fish platter, well for 30 euros I was expecting something quite special. Tuna slightly over cooked, sword fish definitely over cooked, the 2 large prawns and sea bream were moist and quite tasty, salmon boring. I feel bad because the staff were so lovely but Noooo, I wonât be back and would not recommend, donât believe everything you read on trip advisor

BEATI PAOLI Restaurant, located at 240, St Paul's Str, Valletta. If it is a lunch or a dinner, BEATI PAOLI is the ultimate restaurant to eat in.
Food, service were outstanding. Small, intimate and charming atmosphere. Chef personally visits each table to make certain food is prepared consistent with dietary restrictions and requests. Service is prompt. Portions are appropriate. Fish is clearly fresh daily. We wanted salads to start and chef accommodated.Overall experience was excellent. This restaurant was head and shoulders above the other seven we tried on our vacation in Malta. It deserves to be Number One. We tried to return but it was sold out the final four nights we were in Malta.

We specialize in cooking seafood for takeaway. Daily fresh seasonal seafood available in stock. Come in or order by phone for pick up.
It may just be our bad luck or the fact that we were the only Asian-looking tourists around (and the lads thought we didnât know any better)... The fish and chips were the worst weâve ever had - coming from Australia we have had a few good ones. For 9 euros we got one (rather small) piece of over cooked cod with minimal batter and soggy chips. The fish was so dry and tough even the kids didnât want it. The chips were clearly deep fried in old, stale oil and was awful. And to think we specifically walked for 20min to get to this place based on reviews. There was unfortunately nothing âgourmetâ about the food. Just overpriced, and the joint had nowhere to sit except for two bar stools - and at the counter they asked us: would you like to eat in or takeaway? Eat in where?? If you want good fish and chips there are - as we discovered later - many better options around the island. Like the Sea Shell Fish and Chips in Bugibba and even many of the restaurants in Sliema and Valletta do a good (and fairly priced) deal on fish and chips. For less than or similar to what this joint charge for âgourmet takeawayâ you can get better food and enjoy proper table service (some place for 7 euros with a drink!).A really bad experience for us and we would advise other to be cautious - at least check whatâs in the takeaway box before you walk away..
