We had read great reviews on this chain, so we chose to have here our first dinner in Tokyo upon arrival. We had to wait for about 15 minutes before getting seated, the place is simple, nothing special, but don't be fooled by appearances: you're here for the sushi, and it is really delicious. I highly recommend the Tuna Tasting Set: there are all the tuna variations, from the fattiest to the one just seared on the plate !!!! Fantastic, we returned here for another dinner the night before leaving Tokyo and we still miss that sushi so much. Average prices for sushi, absolutely adeguate to the quality served.

After a long day of touring Tokyo, we wanted somewhere closed to our hotel for dinner. Our friend recommended Kyubey in the Keio Plaza Hotel (and their main and original shop is actually in Ginza). We had to reserve a course dinner given our large party size. We picked the Kyubey Course, which features 16 pieces of sushi, rolls, soup and pickles. Chef was super nice and spoke good English. He had a book and was showing us various sushi that we were having. I love the sweet shrimp sushi and how they grilled the head and tail. They are so crispy that you could eat the whole thing. I enjoyed the dinner, although some of my travel mates expected better sushi since it was inside a nice hotel.
Hands-on, finger-licking Cajun cooking and seafood from the American west coast and Hawaii.
Delicious! But not kid friendly. Thereâs no kidâs menus for children who donât eat seafood. Even their chicken is spicy. The Cajun sauce is fantastic and the seafood is usually well cooked. This is our 3rd visit and itâs my husbandâs favorite place in Tokyo but this time the lobster and shrimp were overly cooked. Also, we ordered garlic bread and (2) extra corn to complement our meal, we waited a very long time and we had to remind them. Its difficult to get the staff attention as well when itâs time to order food.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Arrived at approx. 1830hrs without a booking and was able to get in. Only one couple were tourists, rest were locals. Good service, delicious food and good quality. We got the 8000 yen menu and it was a lot of food for us. We do recommend this place to others! Thank you for choosing our place to spend your precious time. It was our pleasure to serve you, and glad to hear that you have had a good sushi experience. We are looking forward to seeing you again!

Went during between hours and mostly older locals tearing through plate after plate. Entirely made to order during quiet hours. Favorite was the yellowtail...so fresh and lovely texture. Chef was on top of it and patient with our v limited Japanese.

Coming straight from the madness of the Robot Restaurant, Kuriya was the perfect antidote with subtle lighting in a small downstairs dining area. Food was excellent (English menu available) and the waitstaff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!
