The restaurant is quite small, seating maybe 20 at any time. The decor is relaxed and Caribbean music plays in the background. We were offered a glass of pina colada as an aperitif. The menu has good variety, including meat and fish dishes, salads, cheese served with honey. Be aware that the meals do not come with vegetables or salad unless you specifically ask for it. The meals are fresh, with fabulous flavours. The highlight is the rum selection at the end - definitely a interactive experience! We will definitely be back!

We accidentally discovered this restaurant while we were staying at an airport hotel in Malpensa. The location is around 10-15 minutes by car from Malpensa airport. The restaurant served excellent authentic Italian dishes and we ate there for 4 consecutive evenings except the evening when the restaurant was closed. We tried many dishes and all were perfect from appetisers to deserts. Prices were also not expensive and very reasonable. Waitresses were very friendly and efficient. You are advised to book in advance and/or arrive early as the restaurant was extremely popular and tables got filled easily. We noticed even in weekdays, the restaurant was full as many locals dined at the restaurant and customers also came to order take away.

They do say 'never shop or write a restaurant review while hungry'....Ok. I may have made the second part of that up, but BOY was I hungry when I left my apartment to find some food tonight. Unfortunately my regular local haunt was closed for some unknown reason and I couldn't face the trek into town, so while plodding home, resigned to a night of crackers and choccie dip (I've eaten everything in my apartment in the run up to Christmas and I'm too lazy to restock), I remembered that I had heard some music from my balcony coming from just up the road back during the summer. 'Sure, what else would I be doing on a Tuesday night?' I asked myself and proceeded down the road in great hope. Sure enough, about 400 meters down Via Oneda, I happened upon an entirely nondescript and unlit sign advertising the Osteria Del Pozzo. In hesitant anticipation I braved the oddly paved parking area and caught a flash of activity inside.... Oh joy of joys! A restaurant! And it's open! Oh wait. It's very busy. I should not have worried. With my horrific Italian, I asked for a table for one and was immediately seated at a recently vacated table, instantly redressed (not me! The table!) and the ever-so-classy lady of the house introduced me to the menu of the evening. In rapid fire Italian. Verbally.I caught mushroom risotto for starter. At that point my confused smile prompted her to slow down and repeat the secondi piatti. Evidently I ordered octopus with potatoes. The risotto was perfect and immediate. The octopus was tasty and tender and came with prawns, potatoes, chicory and onions which complemented each other surprisingly well. The wine was red and more than adequate. The staff make you feel like their favourite grand son and the locals obviously enjoy this place because there was not a spare table inside. (There is a large outdoor covered area for when sunnier seasons take over again) The desert was four pieces, all various home made delights from fruit to cheese cake to apple tart. I think I'm in love. Highly recommended that you book ahead if possible to guarantee a spot here. Better yet, get an Italian speaker to help if you can. +39 0331 913361...Via Oneda 24. Closed Monday, Tuesday and Saturday at lunch time.

They do an all you can eat lunch for 11.90 which has a really good selection but you pay an extra 5 euros for some plates such as sashimi. They serve between 12-1430 and are closed on a Tuesday. The dinner menu is slightly bigger but is significantly more expensive at about 21 euros. They also do a good take away menu.

Familiar and intimate atmosphere where the quality of the products and the care of every details prevail
In Casteletto lived four days. Two evenings spent in this restaurant. I liked everything very much. Price and quality and service. The beef fillet was incomparable. Colmar rings are the same. The desserts are great. White homemade wine completes this list :)

MoMa L'ospite e il gusto...If you're looking for that very exclusive, pricy place that will NOT let you down...then this is it. Too many restaurants out there claim this prerogative, but fewer bring in the goods. Mo ma's does! Wow! A little different - as I was told by a local in Sesto Calende - but quite impressive.

We dined here with friends who live in Sesto Calende, and it was intended as a thank-you meal to them for their hospitality. The dining room is immaculate and bright, perhaps too much so (our Italian friend likened it to a hospital). It has a great location, in the centre of the town, with views across the River Ticino. The menu is sensibly limited but with a sufficient range of dishes to please most palettes. Service was good, if a little distant. The quality of the food varied according to the dish: the tagliata - ordered by two of us - was sliced too thinly and provided little satisfaction; but the pasta dishes were better received.

I have been hearing about this place for a few months now so we have decided to test it out. We had family sunday lunch with small birthday celebration. The menu was excellent offering good variety of dishes. Not too many dishes as I get suspicious whether products are fresh. It has offered a diverse choice suitable to all tastes and the products were certainly fresh and carefully selected. The wine choice was also very good (pity I was designated driver but my husband has indulged). The highlight was maialino dish; very tender and juicy. Compliments to the chef.We had three/four course meal at very reasonable price. Superior quality, lovely interior and super nice service. It was our first visit but certainly not the last. We loved it :-)Thank you! Sorry for my bad english but i desire to answer you. I wait you and your family to taste our specialities that change every month and the special menu for the event like next woman's day or Easter or to taste our new Young proposal IL GIROPASTA
