We managed to get a table for two at relatively late notice and felt fortunate throughout. We had lovely house white wine (eur8 approx for 1/2 bottle) and three different fish dishes (fried sea bass a particular favourite)Although the entrance could put you off, it really shouldnât once you walk downstairs and meet the team.

Good food and a welcome place to grab a cold drink on a hot day. Friendly service and fabulous location. Great atmosphere.

Just 1 km from the hamlet of Panza, Forio d'Ischia, the Montecorvo is a cozy restaurant nestled in the countryside between Ischia. Few tables, pieces of art chosen with great taste, a well and a fireplace carved into the stone green (inside). In hot weath
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel so we made them reserve - based on room number instead of name, but ok. The Restaurante is located nicely nearby and looks beautiful - a nice garden with a great atmosphere. We were first offered the table I identified as the worst (in an empty restaurant) and then after asking for a better one. Turned out several guests were offered the same bad table first (and asked for a different one). Drinks came rather fast. I wanted the special meat (beef) which was noted as 600g minimum (1kg = 40 eur), after ordering 600g the waiter came back telling me due to size of meat available I was asked to order 900g - excuse me, what? I see I am about 90kg heavy but I donât want to eat 1kg of meat. This was the 2nd strike of bad service. So I ordered the same as my girlfriend, beef steak with pepper sauce. Both were ordered medium. One arrived medium the other rather medium-done which I play down to the hot pepper sauce it was topped with. Luckily she likes her steak more like this so we switched the meals and the steak was decent. The rest of the evening was uneventful; like fully uneventful as we were not served anymore, sitting in front of empty dishes and glasses. We asked for the bill and got the same as other reviewers here: a 30 minute waiting for the bill. Which was written, by hand, on paper. No register print or anything. Which makes me doubt itâs financial and legal veracity.Overall, a shame for a beautiful venue.

We went for pizza for dinner but unfortunately there was no pizza so we decided to start with bruschetta (delicious) and then tried a couple of pasta dishes which tasted so fresh and flavourful and the portions were very generous. The service was terrific and what a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a quiet dinner along the beach.

Basically the food was not very good and seemed to wait ages for any form of service, asked for the bill about 5 times before we got it. Very disappointing

This is the place one would highly recommend to best friends and family members - it says it all. We were staying in a hotel at Maronti beach and decided to try different restaurants in the area. This restaurant was highly rated on tripadvisor and we decided to try it. We found it easily, right at the beach. The place at first looked pretty simple, many of the same are around. What really made a huge difference are the service and the food! These were absolutely special. The service was personalized, staff were friendly and attentive to all our requests. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. The portions are plentiful, so if you are not that hungry take a portion for two. You have to try antipasti misti: both Italian and the see food mix. They are just excellent, they include a good variety of everything, you should try it, particularly if you are only visiting Italy and would like to try different things. The prices are more than reasonable, from 10 to 25 euro per person for dinner, local wine included. Once you try it, you wouldnât want to change it to any other restaurant in the area, this is what happened with us. I would like to thank the owners and the cook. We will definitely come back....

Surrounded by the vineyards, Cantine Pietratorcia offers a selection of traditional recipes like the coniglio all´ischitana, tender rabbit meat cooked in copper pans, Gragnano pastas with fresh fish, juicy home-grown vegetables, all accompanied by the win
It may be slightly off the beaten track...but both the bus ride and the food are well worth the trip... the pasta was really amazing..flavourful and the seasoning just right.... so was the cuttlefish main ....I would probably revoke t coming here for lunch or an early dinner to take advantage of the view..

The pizzas are really tasty and large. We ate at the restaurant one time and then came back to get takeaway pizzas twice. I definitely recommend takeaway if you are planning to eat pizza because the all prices are lower and the service is really quick. They add 2 euros per person extra to your bill if you eat in. The service at the restaurant was ok. They seemed to prefer local customers at the takeout desk though. Little smile wouldn't hurt.

RISTORANTE deus si trova a picco sul mare che alterna tra carne e pesce con cucina di prodotti locali
This was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life and started my love of wines from ischia. My sister and I went and both of our meals were incredibly outstanding. When I go back to Italy I will definitely spend two days at least and I know I will hit this restaurant twice minimum. I had the seafood ravioli and I feel like that was the first time I ever had ravioli the way it was meant to be. Amazing and worth the trip plus the view is outstanding.Grazie mille per la sua bellissima recensione, la aspettiamo con molto piacere

We decided to visit this authentic taverna based on the great reviews it has on Trip Advisor. Having checked it's location during the day, as it's a little tucked away, we booked to have dinner there at 8.00pm. The restaurant was only about a third full when we arrived, but that's not unusual as most people eat much later in Italy. The first disappointment was the bread, which was ordinary. Rightly or wrongly, I do consider the bread you're given to be a bit of a litmus test for the rest of the meal. I had prosciutto and melon to start, which was nice, but not the best I'd had during the week and I had sea bass for main. My partner had caprese to start and a fish dish for main. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. By the time we had finished our mains, the restaurant was starting to fill up with large local parties, I think there were three tables of around eight people each and so we were ignored for a long time, despite mentioning that we would quite like 'dolce'. There were two or three choices of dessert on the menu, but by the time we finally attracted someone's attention and reiterated that we'd like dessert we weren't given a choice and they just brought us the house zeppole. These are basically home made donuts, which were nice, but not what we wanted. Again, it took a while for us to get the bill, as all the staff were busy with the bigger tables. Overall, the prices were reasonable and the food is good, but not great. I would probably go back again, but feel it's more of a lunch venue than one for dinner.
