I would like to start this review with 1) My review, 2) Negatives, 3) Positives and 4) Recommendations. 1) Review- Location was easy to find (above Jamsil subway station, level 4 of Lottie World Mall)- Price was reasonable at US$100 (KRW 112000 daily rate) and 50% for children below 13- Food was overall very good, each food station [our favorite, how many times (x?)]: Steamed lobster [steamed lobster x2], live seafood [산낙지/long arm octopus x1], sashimi & sushi [Did Not Try], grilled meats [beef ribs x2 and butter grilled lobster x2], traditional korean [kimchi x3], south/east asian [chill mud crab x4], tropical fruit/juice [strawberry (below average) x1, mango (normal) x2, water melon juice x1], coffee and ice cream [coffee (below average) x1, ice cream x2], dessert [Did Not Try] and drinks very all good quality and well stocked.- Standard of coffee (Long Black (aka Americano in Korea) and Cafe Latte) is generally below average in Korea. But, this place was below that below average.- Service was very efficient. Staff seemed lost and did not speak English very well.2) Negatives- Let me tell you that it was very very very hard to book a table for 4 adults and 1 child as a foreigner by email. I'd admit that I was late into the game and tried to book only 2 weeks but still it was very painful to send 5 emails to 3 different people without any replies. Management should be more professional to cater for for visitors. - Staff spoke little or no English, at most times seemed confused to what they are suppose to do (this is normally 3 star of below hotel standard)- Kitchen staff were very inflexible, for example asked sashimi chef to provide a plate of "raw fish off sushi as sashmi", he stated that they only have limited allocation per diners, hence, can not to that. So I requested for 1 person, then he said he was not allowed. Anyways, I did not like sashmi on offer so did not take any from that station.3) Positives- On arrival we were escorted to out table and basic house rules were provided- Individual food quality was very good, but not excellent or amazing4) Recommendation- You can find email addresses on other reviews. They take book from 1st of month for next month, so if you can book by email (refer to other reviews), then definitely worth a visit.

Situated on the 13th floor of the Lotte departmental store, this restaurant if difficult to find but worth the effort. It is one of several restaurants on this level.I had gone there following the good reviews on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. Catering for foreigners by having pictures of the various fish dishes by the cash register, you order and pay for your food before going to your table. The service was excellent and quite fast.I chose the lobster (two halves) and mussels, served in a kimchi soup and must have provided the locals with much amusement as I tried (and failed) to cope with both the lobster and mussels with steel chopsticks! After a few moments, I was also provided with scissors, a sort of nutcracker, a spoon and a fork and made better progress. The lobster and mussels, together with the four bowls of beans and other vegetables of which I do not know the name, made a very good dinner. All for 18,00 won,the same price that I had paid for a bottle of Spanish been in my hotel, (L7 at Myeondong) the night before

The price increased recently from 31,000 won to 38,000 won per crab. Min order, 1 crab per person, despite we explained that one in our group would like eating less raw seafood. The crabs were yummy; side dishes were fair. Staff were rude and only 1 of them can speak limited English. It's no harm to try if you are crazy in raw crabs in soy sauce. Booking required.

The restaurant only has a Korean name. Its about 5 mins walking distance from underground subway Ahyeon station (242). We arrived around noon and were already number 4 in queue. Each person has to order one crab set (krw15,000), which comes with tofu soup, a bowl of purple rice and several appetizer dishes and one whole soy sauce crab. Since the raw crab was marinated in special soy sauce for at least a few days to a week, the crab meat was jelly like and we could easily suck it out from the legs. The meat was flavorful and savory and went pretty well with the rice. Crab lovers will surely like the taste of the orange cream fat. The restaurant owner was very friendly. There is no need for foreigners to panic, the owner will give you a menu with pictures and languages that you can read. For seafood lovers who pursue flavor, this is the style of crab that you should not miss. Once you have tried it, you will have the urge to go back for it again and again.

We have order 1. Small soy crabs 2. The rice with crab 3. The seafood soup 4. Two rice, total $260,000 KRW.I don't really like the toast of soy crabs, i like the cooked crabs more. The seafood soup is very nice, they use the sea fish for the soup, so it is very fresh and delicious. We have finish up the seafood soup.Anyway, it is good for you to try soy crabs once, maybe you will like it.
