We entered this locale' on a Sunday evening, desiring a simple local dinner... And we got so much more. Beginning with the hospitality and warmth of the owner, on with the special dishes he served us as per our request (bruschetta which is not in the menu), and a local Puliese dish which he served us just to let us taste the specialities of the local kitchen), and at the end the sherry he gave us with the cookies, to end with a sweet taste.Very modestly priced, high quality of food, excellent service... This is the kind of experience we came to Puglia for...Will certainly come back if I can. Definitely recommended if you are touring the area of hills above Fossano.

Recommended by our hotel borgo ritello . Good choice of antipasti and wine list mostly of the local region. Service was good compared to some italian eating places. Overall enjoyable meal

Prezzi mediamente in linea.

I've been to this family owned restaurant many times over the years and it continues to be a great place to go for well-prepared, traditional Puglian cuisine. Set in an underground cellar with high vaulted ceilings, the cozy dining room is comfortable and the service is friendly, professional and helpful. Prices are more than reasonable considering the quality of the offerings.

The Osteria Antichi Sapori restaurant, immersed in the vineyards of the Pyrrhus Canal, near the renowned Selva di Fasano and the road to Alberobello, is an ideal place to rediscover and enjoy the delicacies of typical Apulian cuisine. The Osteria Antichi
We stumbled upon Antichi Sapori on our way from Polignano a Mare to Ostuni and were treated to the best meal we had in Italy. Everything was perfect about it - sitting outside with a gentle breeze blowing, tables covered with white linen - the epitome of an Italian lunch. We shared Puglia burrata and salumi, bocconcini and tomato salad, amongst other dishes. The winning dish was undoubtedly the lasagna -I've never tasted such delicate lasagna, with paper-thin sheets of pasta covered in a delectable meat sauce, very light on the cheese, which was beyond perfection. The staff was welcoming and service was impeccable. If travelling in Puglia, this osteria is well worth a detour. You won't be disappointed. After months that we can answer, we remember the votive stay in our restaurant in the cool of our two trees. We thank you for the nice words spent in the treatment we have reserved. We are waiting for you on your next trip here in Puglia. Peppino Laterza

In an old trullo with 7 cones, masterfully renovated by master trullari, situated in the green heart of Selva di Fasano and not far from the Zoo Safari Itria Valley is located in the middle of the restaurant La Grande Quercia. The warm and welcoming atmos
We loved this local establishment. Their fish was always very fresh, and their wood fired pizzas delicious. Excellent experience with nice outdoor or indoor seating. Leave room for their tiramisu dessert.

The cooking standard here is high , fine dining with beautiful presentation and lovely flavour combinations . Itâs such a surprise from an un-assuming but pleasant restaurant in a backstreet in Fasano . Eat outside on a warm summers evening to Maine it even better . In between courses friendly staff bring additional touches like a basil ice cream set in smoking dry ice before dessert . Ingredients are Italian and local but combined with modern twists like a savoury popcorn . Home made gnocchi with a pork crumb Ragu was delicious , salt cod with mushrooms and stracciaterra local buffalo cheese was perfectly cooked . Fabulous value for money including a good locally biased wine list

The dishes just kept coming and each one was absolutely delicious. Lots of love and thought put into the selection and preparation. Service was delightful and beyond helpful. His local wine recommended was spot on. This is the place to have authentic Puglia cuisine and a wonderful evening.

We have just returned from a week staying next door to the restaurant at the Sierra Sylvana hotel in Selva di Fasano (a nice enough hotel which is extremely clean) and were bowled over by the delights of Il Fagiano. The restaurant occupies a handsome large villa and is blessed with a series of elegant dining areas - beautifully decorated and furnished. The service was excellent - friendly and helpful but in no way overbearing. The food was a dream, whether ordered or just appearing as a 'little' extra, and minor variations to the make-up of dishes to meet one's preferences or appetite were accommodated with pleasure. For our second and third visits (there would have been more had it been open on Monday and Tuesday), we left the choice of wine entirely in the hands of our excellent waiter - a move which did not disappoint. We recommend Il Fagiano without reservation.

I was here last Friday night (24May2019). Yeah the location is a bit out of the town center but It is very easy to get there and there is plenty of parking space. The inside is modern but with the typical Puglia traditional style, super clean and cosy. Lovely place to spend a night out with friends and/or family.Food was excellent!!! I am Vegan, and I had plenty of food and options. Absolutely everything was delicious. Specially the parmigiana and the orecchiette with funghi porcini and fave. Everything has a little twist which is why this place stands out from the rest. And by the way, I am not Italian but I often travel to Puglia, I visited this restaurant with friends from Fasano, and they loved the food as much as I did (And they are not vegans). The chef and the waiter were super friendly and super helpful with my diet. They really made a special atmosphere. Great team! The price was normal, We spend what we normally do in a restaurant. Overall, excellent food excellent service. I will definitely recommend this place and for sure I will come back in my next visit to Puglia. See you this summer! :)
