The restaurant is situated at the foot of one of the slopes. It is very elegant decorated. The food is delicious using fresh ingredients. The grilled beef was juicy and well seasoned. The food is good value for money.The servers were friendly and pleasant. Good to place for either lunch or dinner after a day out skiing. Thank you so much for the nice review. Have eaten here twice at weekend lunchtimes, and the service has been poor both times. We were left waiting ages to order and again at every step. Hubbies steak was cold, and my caprese salad decidedly average. The restaurant certainly looks the part, in the surroundings and the presentation of the food. But the food itself was only average, and the terrible service will stop us going again.I feel for the 2 guys who are waiting on tables - they are too few for a busy lunch stop on the ski circuit

Yes it's very fancy for being a rifugio in the mountains (guess there are people that deplore that mountain cabins aren't what they used to be; my 15-year-old hardcore mountaineering self would probably agree) and yes it's expensive, but ...MY GOSH, THE SEAFOOD!Try the fried calamari with (optonal) glass of cremant, preferably outside on the terrace on a sunny winter/spring day.

We stopped here for a quick lunch prior to a ski lesson and were promptly served. The restaurant's speciality is pizza although their lasagna and pasta vongole are very good. Prices are medium (â¬14 per dish) and service is efficient. Recommended particularly if under a tight schedule.

Today we had dinner in bella vista. Excellent service from the waiter and the chef. We had the fish for 4 with an excellent bottle of white wine. After payment we received a home made bottle of limoncello, very nice. Do not understand the negative reviews, maybe the staff has changed?
