I've written a few reviews about this restaurant as we always eat here while we spend some time on the coast during winter. As always we were welcomed by Julian and he remembered my name from last year. Well done!!We had fresh Kingklip and it was delicious. The dessert were nice and sweet as always. One of the things that I realized over the years eating here is to eat the proposed meal as Julian puts in a lot of effort to bring something special to the table. We love this place. Wish it was in Gauteng that could eat here more often.

Popular local restaurant and bar with great food, fantastic ambience, lovely music and fabulous sea view.
If its well prepared, value-for-money fare that you're after, this unassuming eaterie on Scottburgh's main street is the place to visit. Its open for breakfast and lunch (dinner on special occasions), and serves a wide variety of food - from toasted sandwiches and burgers to formal meals. Breakfasts start at under R20, and lunches under R40. A three course Sunday lunch costs R65 - where else can you eat for less? The place is licenced, and affords a sea view over the roof tops.
I meta friend for lunch and a good chat which ewe had. However the service was poor. We had our drinks and then had to find a waitron to place our order. My Hamburger was fair but the patties were over cooked and it was very dry needing some sauceMy friends vegetarian platter was fine as were our Dom Pedros - which I have not had for many years!!

Being at the Blue Marlin for a week timeshare, it made sense to have our meals at the in house Lighthouse Restaurant.Throughout the week the buffet dinners offered consistently tasty food, and a great variety too. The soups were always delicious, the salads fresh and inventive, the mains consisting of carvery, curies, fish, meat dish and vegetarian option were always very satisfying. Great deserts too !There is a good a la carte menu for lunch and lighter dinners. The pizzas are thin based and scrumptious and the toasted sandwiches (especially chicken mayo) are excellent. The staff is attentive and very friendly and helpful. Kudos especially to Salim and Elaine
