Don't be put off by the "standard" signs outside, inside is a very welcoming "local" cafe/restaurant which was so good I ate here two nights! The menu is clearly local rather than aimed only at tourists and all the better for it.Excellent find.

Very friendly welcome to this popular place. As noted before the portions are very generous and plenty of fresh fish, although other options available. Side salads were really good accompaniment to our main meals. All in all good evening and very good value

We ended up here for the dinner quite late (many restaurants were already closing) but here was warm atmosphere and a lot of other people. Carlos was very friendly and helpful and we got good dinner; gambas de ajillo, fresh fish etc. Really nice experience. Made us feel so welcome.

The fish was splendid and served with no fuss. Simple and fresh. I was hungry from walking quite far but my husband was as happy with the food and he did not walk himself hungry before. Both very happy

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay In Playa de Santiago this February. The first visit we had the steaks with mushroom sauce which were cooked perfectly. The second visit we had the roast fish which was superb. Both meals were excellent value and the staff were lovely.
