San Gimignano, known as the "city of beautiful towers," had 72 towers in its heyday. Now 14 remain, and, rising above Tuscany's Elsa Valley, they make the town look like a medieval dreamscape. Take in the fresco-covered Collegiate Church, the Civic Museum and the views from atop 177-foot Torre Grossa. Daytrippers from Florence tend to fill up the streets during the day, so for a more up-close-and-personal look at the town, spend the night.

We were a party of 16, with a late booking for a birthday celebration on the 11th August 2018. Ristorante Da Graziano welcomed us and provided us with a delicious meal, excellent service and the very lovely gesture of a glass of Prosecco to toast our birthday friend. The food was excellent and we were not hurried, enjoying a long evening with food and drink, looked after by very professional, welcoming staff. Thank you so much.Thank you very much for your beutiful review, we are very very happy that you like our restaurante.Yours sincerelyClaudia

This is a huge restaurant, however in late March it was almost empty in the evening. It's very fresh and well decorated with a modern twist. The food was excellent. Good portion sizes and all at very reasonable prices. The house wine could also not be faulted at the price. The waitress was very efficient and did not rush us, all very relaxed. If your looking for good quality at good prices I would search this place out. It's not your normal authentic little restaurant but has lots of plus points to make it worth a visit.Check the opening hours as its closed late afternoon until early evening.

Driving up to the restaurant, parking, and then sitting on the deck provides you with the quintessential Tuscan experience. The wait staff were extremely friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and attentive. The pizzas are just the way I expected them in Tuscany, flat crust baked on stone oven. The sauce and ingredients tasted fresh and homemade, if they weren't I could not tell. Pricing wise, they are on par with all others in the area!

Like the name already indicates, the restaurant is located just outside the entrance gate of the old town. They also have a nice outdoor seating area and (in contradiction to restaurants in the old town) reasonable prices.Food is good, their scaloppines (veal) with chianti sauce are even very good.Prices are reasonable, so the value for money is very good.Service is friendly.
