Reviews on Seafood food in Salisbury, England, United Kingdom. If you saw Chevy Chase's masterpiece European Vacation, you'll recognize Stonehenge's massive formation. (As a citizen of the world, you should recognize Stonehenge anyway.) The prehistoric stone circle is eight miles from Salisbury, and its visitors provide a boost to the local economy. With a history dating back over 5,000 years, there is no shortage of significant places to visit in and around Salisbury. On the "must see" list are Salisbury Cathedral, Longleat and Stourhead gardens (and Stonehenge, of course).

Best of British Fish and Chips can be found at Mitchell's Chippy. It is definitely worth making the effort to go there - you will not be disappointed! The large code barely fit on a plate and are all skinless showing their freshness. Chip portions are massive!!! Love this place - highly recommended

Its really hard to find good fish & chips (even in England) this place was really good. The fish portion comes in 3 sizes we ordered the large and it was huge, perfectly battered and came right off the fryer. The chips were large & plentiful. They added salt & vinegar and away we went.....with a huge smile on our faces, hot food in the bag and paid under 10£

Visited the restaurant today (Saturday, mid afternoon). The food was freshly cooked and quite delicious. Chips were crisp outside and meltingly soft within. The fish (cod) was wonderfully fresh, surrounded by a light batter. Nicely presented, there was no sign of the fat-laden soggy food you so often get elsewhere. Staff were attentive, efficient and happy to help. Simply great!Thank you for your review. We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Kind Regards Harlees Group

Whatâs happened? Mediocre food and service was mediocre and Iâm so sad as this was once THE place to go for special celebration meals in Salisbury. For the price the food was non descriptive and bland. I went with an old friend and was so ashamed to have raved about it beforehand as wanted a special evening out.
