I reserved "The Merry Mussel" on line. The garish red neon light is a little off-putting but we soon discovered that this place offered much more than mussels i.e. a wide range of meat and fish dishes. We really enjoyed our meals -much better than another place down the road. It is simple fair but well cooked and not huge quantities. I have deducted a point for the inedible lime peel on our fish and the odd bone in a filet. But I would recommend for a decent, simple meal

Recently opened Cafe Paradis certainly lives up to its name. Great atmosphere both inside and out, the courtyard through the back just makes this place. Food is traditional French & wonderful value, menu du jour at under 20⬠for three courses. Very tasty food and a good selection. For any pizza lovers they looked fabulous! Staff and owners very friendly and keen to please.Located away from the front but certainly worth finding you. 10/10!!!

In front of the bay of Agay, Brasserie playing the year cards of pleasure and relaxation. Cuisine of the moment made with passion with southern and Provencal flavors: salads, tapas, meat, local and wild fish grilled, pizzas on the spot or take away!
Excellent little restaurant on the front in Agay. The host Christophe is very welcoming and his service throughout our dinner was efficient, helpful & friendly. The menu, although small (2 appetizers & 3 main dishes + a daily special), was very good and the Chef David is very talented. These are clearly restaurant professionals. One of us was vegetarian, and this was not a problem at all, with 2 veg dishes expertly executed. The daily special was a riff on a bouilleabesse, with a creamy broth base with lovely shrimp and potatoes and the bourride with croutons, etc........ very creative and spectacular. This is not your average beach-front bar/Bistro. Very popular with locals clearly. These guys deserve great success.

Thank goodness I had taken French lessons so that I-could help my family order. The waitress refused to speak English and I am so proud I was able to communicate without making it difficult. Learn basic French before you come here!!!!!!!!!!!! Fish was tasty. Sois gentil!!!!

The food was cooked okay but neither of us enjoyed it. I took the Euro 26 menu and my wife a la carte. Loads of veg on mine all cooked okay but the cod(the main event) was rubbery and the langoustine added nothing to the dish. The soup was okay and we had fresh pineapple to finish. It would be hard to spoil that!Unfortunately we left not having enjoyed our meals

We dined at La Marine, which is located on the waterfront at Port Santa Lucia in St Raphael, on a glorious sunny evening. The location is wonderful with views over the marina, and there is a feeling of space around the exterior tables that is so often missing in restaurants in tourist areas. The menu focuses mainly on fish and the range available is impressive; I chose bouillabaisse, the house specialty, and my wife went with a fixed price menu that included a prawn cocktail and fillet of bass. The presentation of the prawn cocktail was magnificent with half a dozen or more huge prawns perched around the edge of a beautiful salad with a lovely Marie-Rose sauce. My wife confirmed that it tasted as good as it looked and her fillet of bass was pronounced the best fish dish of the holiday. My bouillabaisse was massive and contained huge chunks of saffron potatoes, prawns, sea bass, sea bream and cod; it was beautiful.Service was relaxed but efficient (although the credit card machine did not work) and our bill, including drinks, came to around 80 Euros.La Marine is not an inexpensive restaurant but the great location, good quality service and lovely food make it the best fish restaurant that we have found in the Frejus / St Raphael area; we shall certainly return.

In a fairly unassuming location, by the marina in St Raphael. But the food was excellent; portions huge;service extremely friendly and helpful. You need to book - we didnât, and at 7pm managed to get one of the only 2 unreserved tables - on a Monday evening. 10 minutes later, people were being turned away. Not expensive. Definitely worth a try
