It has the same name as a chinese buffet near IHOP on the other side of Rome, but I'm not sure if they are associated with each other. The food is always hot and fresh. A wide selection to choose from on the buffet, as well as ice cream for that after meal treat. It's right next door to the Easy Living Yamaha dealership on Martha Berry Hwy.

If you going to call yourself shrimp boat then your shrimp should be hand breaded shrimp right? No Shrimp Poboy was awful for 9.25 I could have went to bonefish for better shrimp. Oh well the tea was good

I rediscovered Captain D's recently and I have been impressed with menu selections, tastiness of the food, and very reasonable prices. I enjoyed the whitefish dinner and lobster rolls on recent visits. Staff is very friendly. The dining room is clean enough but it looks very tired. This is fast food with cheap eats but I think its very nice.

Our meals were as beautifully presented as they were delicious. Honestly, given the location, we didn't expect much, but once inside this tasteful and blessedly quiet restaurant, our expectations rose. We were not disappointed. The fish was fresh, the sushi rice was excellent, and the service was gracious. Rusan's is almost 2 hours from home, but we'll create another opportunity to dine there.

My first visit was a good one. Our server, McKenzie, spoiled us. Friendly, helpful, and just the right touch. As for the atmosphere, well it appears tired. Not much pizazz. Next was the menu. The salads are pretty plain. The shrimp tacos were excellent. The fish was good. Their biscuits were sensational!

Perfect food. Perfect music. Perfect service. Price...ah. They put alcohol in the drinks so I guess $50 foe 2 isn't really that bad. We started with Boundin Balls or something like that. Really good and slightly spicy. Glenn had Jambalaya and I has Seafood Gumbo. Sooooo good. The course bread was worth he battle. The mixture of flavors. Just really loved it. Of course we have been trying to make it convenient to go for months. It was worth the wait and effort.
