Blown away by this place. Several reasons. A) very clean and inviting. B) the owner Nunzio was present and the head chef. C) Nunzio was very friendly and treated me like a diplomat...I'm just a regular guy visiting, looking for a nice meal.It was humbling to see how proud he was about his restaurant and his staff were all just as friendly.If ever you wanted to bottle the atmosphere and share it with people, this is it.

This is by far the highest quality sushi you can find in town!! Given the prices and the location, you will definitely pay a little more, but if you *really* know how good sushi is, then you won't be disappointed and will be happy to pay the price which, by the way, is not too far from other high-end restaurants. A must try: hotate (scallop) sashimi and the sushi 'bigne' (fish-only roll). Also, their plain rice is just delicious, which is to me another good test for Japanese food ;) Service is really good and so is the selection of 'osake'! The restaurant also offer delivery service.If you don't like the prices here or you think the sushi isn't that good, then I'm sorry but you probably haven't eaten good sushi before. Our group made a pilgrimage here because of the chef and the pizza. Neither were disappointing. We started with a traditional margherita pizza. Then we moved to more exotic varieties, including one with a crust made from cereal grains and Mediterranean sea water which came to the restaurant by box. At the end we were literally stuffed. Chef Giovanni was the ultimate host. If you have the opportunity you must go here!

Il titolo dice tutto.Chi mai si immaginerebbe che in una zona semi periferica di Reggio Emilia, lontanissimo dal mare, dove la tradizione culinaria schiaccia qualsiasi cosa che non siano tortelli, maiale e ragù, si possa trovare un angolo di eccellenza di pesce del genere?Si sta bene al Liffo, si mangia e si beve bene. Maurizio (l'oste) e la moglie Feng sono disponibili a soddisfare ogni richiesta o curiosità che sia. Il pesce (che rappresenta la maggior parte dei piatti) è freschissimo e sapientemente lavorato. I crudi eccezionali.La qualità si paga e in questo caso molto volentieri.Complimenti e avanti così!

After reading all the positive reviews I expected great cuisine....while the service was good, the food was decent but nothing refined and certainly not worth the prices they charged. It was also a bit odd that the decoration was hundreds of bottles of whiskey but there was no option to taste them.
