We had dinner with our family. Very good food and good service as well. We bought a bottle of wine in a local store and management was kind enough to let us have it with our dinner. The manager came speak to us a couple of times and was very friendly. Great atmosphere, in front of beach. I strongly recommend.

We had a great meal at Malon. Our expectations were not high but they were certainly exceeded. My wife had a superb sweetbreads meal. The service, contrary to some of other travellers reviews below, was excellent. Our waiter put up with my bad Spanish and was very personable. So, maybe things are a bit hit and miss with this restaurant. Our night was certainly a hit so I would give it a try if you are in Puerto Madryn.

Starting early in the morning you can enjoy an special breakfast with exceptional views. Later in the evening, you are invited to delight yourself with homemade pasta, seafood and fresh fish; as well as our wide range of meat cooked on plot disk with our
This place was quite good for our family with two young kids. You can sit outside or in, great beach views. Kids can play outside while you wait for meals. Service was fantastic. Meals were good, apart from the prawn salad I had was dry, no dressing or many prawns. There was live music which donations were given via envelopes on tables.

Eating late is an Argentine culture. Dinner usually starts from 8pm. We were trying to find a place for dinner at 7pm as we want to end the day earlier. Walked past Chona and walked in. We ended up with the most terrible meal in Argentina! The wok fried prawn in soy sauce with rice was disgusting. And we also ordered a lamb steak with rosemary and we ended up having a steamed lamb steak. All we can say is that the food quality of this restaurant is terrible!

My cousin, who lives here, brought me to Yoaquina for breakfast. There are light choices, and this tends to be more of a continental than an American breakfast. The cheese scones are dense and the medialunas tasty and unlike croissants except in shape. Good marmalade and jam, and the coffee was very good. But the view! If you sit at tables in the covered porch, you will be on the beach and able to enjoy the ocean. There are no waves, but it is calm and quiet and charming.

I heard it was one of the best places to eat in town but what i ordered was nothing special. The rice with seafood was a bit overcooked. The amounts are not bad.

In my opinion, this restaurant serves the best seafood in this town. It is a dimly lit restaurant in a dimly lit street in a discreet corner of Puerto Madryn, far away from the busier part of the town. However, the food was fresh and very tasty. I highly recommend the seafood paella - one of the best I have tasted & I am comparing with those in Spain. It is a family run business so sometimes they are short handed. The restaurant is also a bit of a squeeze during busier period but that didnât deter us from coming back a second time. Highly recommended!

Ate here for dinner last night. Calamares en escabeche poor, escabeche flavourless and completely lacking in vinegar. Cazuela de mariscos really tasty as were langoustine grille. Ensalada mixta exactly as expected. Postres - cassata turned out to be neopolitan ice cream, not sure if that was a mistake or whether they don't know what cassata is! Panqueque de manzana, a great Argentine classic was OK, not quite cooked enough but good flavour. Overall a decent meal but falls short of what any decent long-established Argentine restaurant would serve

Friendly restaurant with very friendly owner. Sharp price. But I miss vegatables in my Guanaco. So make the price a little bit higher and serve the food a little bit more delicious. The wine was delicious. Thanks! My wife has gnocchi that was better! The ragout of lamb was the best. The serdo was ok but just ok. The apple sauce was ok. So with a little improvement it would be 5 stars.

Delicious sea food and meat, good serving and reasonable price. It really deserves its location in the list as number one. Gracias
