We were three families with kids (1, 2 and 5 year-olds). We were located in Marano Lagunare and it took us about 30 minutes to get to Portogruaro. The food is excellent. They only serve fish. The kids had delicious orecchietti con gamberi e zucchini. We had fritto misto, rombo (which was perfect), pizza. We ate there three times. The prices are fair. Thereâs no playgroud area but the atmosphere is great and everybody is kind. Book your table in advance, it might be crowded. We had one of the best tiramisu ever. Itâs on the way to Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet if you feel like shopping for one day!

If you like seafood I think you'll like it here. We've been going for several years each time we visit the Veneto. We've been twice this trip. Straightforward and unpretentious cuisine. Good wine by the jug esp the Tocai. Go on a sunny day and sit outside as this resto is right by the Lemene 'river' (it's called a river but in Canada we'd call it a stream). Gorgeous setting! Almost exclusively locals eating there. We have only had lunch there. Around 40E for 2. Salads and a main, half liter of wine, coffee. BTW, Portogruaro is definitely worth a day. Very nice historic centre.

This was my fifth visit to this restaurant in 4 years. The food here is consistently good. The fish is as fresh as I have had anywhere and wonderfully prepared. The pastas whether botarga with tomatoes or with clams with a touch of hot pepper are great.I read several others that I found difficult to believe, They complained about price. At my last meal there we had two pastas and two orders of grilled fish, which consisted of two sole and two small rombo. We also had a liter of prosecco, a bottle of water and two coffees. The total cost was 75 Euros, inexpensive for a meal like that.

A wonderful spot in Venice surroundings, where the extreme attention to raw materials meets class and service for the real Italian dining experience.
Best choice in Portogruaro, especially if you're staying at the hotel Spessotto.Service is a bit "rough" but price/money ratio ok.Suggested.

The staff were really nice and help us choosing the best fish according our test .The wine list was no so clear and the price list was not present but if you ask the can give you all the price . For the quality the price it's really good.In general I suggest to book a table also in the middle of the weekI will defently come again.

When travelling with motorbikes, you meet different people and different places. At our 2-week trip to parts of Italy (Volterra, Florence, Siena, Montepolciano, lakes - Garda, Tramezzino, Verona, Padova, Trento, etc), this was the best place to dine and stay over night. The dinner was sublime, with great first course of gniochi and seafood salad and fantastic main course of tender meat with vegetables. Wine and other cold drinks accompanying the food was great too. What cought my heart the most was the very welcoming owner, who gave us the warmest welcome and when going home in the evening showed us the small town of Portoguardo at 11 p.m. The town itself has a great cosy climate and is not so posh as other places we've seen.We also rented a room upstairs of the restaurant, which had a private tarrace, a/c and was furnished very tastefully. Another nice surprise was the price - only â¬60 per night for a double room.

Absolutely fantastic. We arrived quite late but a table was found for us outside. Food ordered after the extremely friendly waitress recommended some dishes. Stunning food, excellent wine. I really can't say one bad thing, apart from I had to leave. Do not leave without having desert. Wow.

Cosy restaurant, with plenty of hustle and bustle when we visited on a Saturday evening. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was really, very good- although if I'm to be totally honest, my risotto was a little salty. I would recommend here and I would return.
