Probably the most delicious seafood we have ever experienced. This family run business is stunning. Grand'Italia are serious about food, you have to taste it to believe it.... The baked seabass and baked mussels were a personal fav.... Ideal for big groups as its a big space over looking the ionian sea with little boats moored up. Beautiful, thank you Antonio,Consolata, Cosimo & all the team for your delicious food and great hospitality !!

We came here twice, once on Saturday nigh and once on Monday night. If you want to come here on the weekend, make sure you book in advance as the restaurant is very busy. Interestingly, we preferred Regina on Saturday, the restaurant was full and it had great ambience. Even though, there were two waiters, service was friendly and efficient and food was good. On Monday, initially we were the only patrons in the restaurant and despite that, service was very slow. We also thought that food was not as good or fresh as on Saturday night.

One of the better restaurants in Torre Lapillo. Nice and simple Italian dishes. Fresh fish. Prices are ok.

Have visited the restaurant twice because my pasta on the first day was delicious. So, We came back the day after and we chose the seafood pasta I loved the day before. But this time We were disappointed. Everything was there; same amount of seafood and pasta but what changed was the sauce. It was very over-salted and extremely oily. Couldnât finish it. I loved it a day before and today I regretted I chose it. My boyfriend had gnocchi with seafood yesterday and the dish was bland because it was too starchy. We had mussels in breadcrumbs which were good . Today we had deep-fried seafood , tasty but only one piece of octopus. We chose tiramisu and I was simply shocked that so low quality and not tasty tiramisu can be found in Italy! It was pure sponge with almost no mascarpone and surrounded by artificial low quality chocolate sauce ! Drama. in general service was ok on these 2 days. Iâm just too disappointed about food I couldnât wait to try.

Pescheria 3.0, Modern, 100 Meters From The Sea, Is Possible To Buy Raw Fish Or Cooked, And Eat It Directly. Fries Fish, Grilled Fish, Seafood Appetizers Raw, Wine, Prosecco And Beer
Great fresh fish here, we had both a fresh grilled cod and mixed fried fish and everything was excellent. It takes a bit of working out how to order and choose your fish but there are some helpful signs telling you what to do. You pay per kg.

In the height of summer pre-book your sunbeds at a beach club. We decided to travel to Torre Lapillo from Torre Canne for a beach day and initially went to the public beach which was heaving on a Friday. Italians go to the beach Fridays-Saturdays. there was little room at 11am and you really need parasols especially if you have children as it is too hot. We went to 4 beach clubs and the first 3 were fully booked but eventually found Lido Stella Maris which had just enough beds for the 8 of us. They have a great spot as the water is shallow for quite away making it good for children. We walked quite a way along the beach and were pleased with our choice of location.Lido Maris Stella is not a posh or 'happening' but quite a casual beach club - it served a purpose for us. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were really friendly and helpful, there was a little snack/drinks bar and a buffet restaurant. We did eat in the buffet restaurant but it was pretty poor - again it served a purpose but would recommend taking a picnic instead. Plastic cutlery and plastic plates. Not nice. The water was clear and warm, sand was golden but it was incredibly busy. At least you get some space when renting sunbeds.I would recommend this for the location.

Born in Calabria and a frequent visitor to Italy I was told by my cousin who owns restaurants of his own, to visit Le Zagare during my visit to Lecce. We were not disappointed. It was one of the best meals we had. We let Aurelio, owner, order some of the house special appetizers and they did not disappoint. Most were his original creations. The black ink squid was spectacular. In short fantastic. The Resturant is spotless and in season has outdoor seating. He and his chefs are trained in Lecce culinary schools and have been rated # 1 regional Resturant many times. WELL WORTH THE TRIP. In fact we returned to eat there prior to leaving the area another day.

Do not be fooled by the name of the Restaurant, the only jazz you will find here is in the wonderful dishes cooked by the chef, Boris. Fresh local fish and seafood cooked with simplicity and elegance. We were greeted by welcoming staff, especially by Boris and his sister Laura, who also cooks some of the dishes (her tiramisu' is to die for!). They were also very kind with our little 11-month-old daughter and cooked special food for her. We felt at home from the beginning, and after being here twice all we can say is that we look forward for the third. We loved everything we ate here and everything about the place. Thoroughly recommended. Excellent food, very reasonable prices, and wonderful people. You will struggle to find better.

I shall write the review in English as it might help those vagabonds. For starters the place feels like one of those restaurants that winds you back to 30-40 years back. The young waiters are nice,well-mannered, sometimes a bit too eager (they whisked the plate away even before we finished licking the plate clean) but you feel comfortable. The patio is marvelous with grapes hanging down and the portions are well more than one can eat. Food very fresh the pasta was amazing! They speak a bit of English( my friend was French) but I can't vouch for their english as I'm italian but i can definitely say that with your eyes closed you'll end up having some quite well cooked, definitely mouthwatering seafood.Salve, sono Andrea, il proprietario della struttura ed addetto alle pubbliche relazioni.Grazie per la bella recensione e per esserci venut a trovare, spero di rivederla nuovamente a cenare ancora da noi!!Cordiali saluti, Andrea
