We were staying at a resort close by and tried to see if we could move in after our dinner here. Unsurprisingly they are booked out a month in advance during the low season. Until we arrived here, I was under the illusion service didnât exist on the Efate Island. It does. Itâs here !!Greeted warmly as we entered was a novel concept so far , and they gave us a great welcome !! Service was on point , each server had personality and could carry a joke !! Yay !! Food ... mamma Mia ! Delicious!! We even went for desert even though we were full ... the food is that good! You can see the kitchen and chefs from some spaces ... open plan kitchen means a clean, honest work space. So fresh. So delicious !!We couldnât see the view as we arrived after dark but tables are facing the ocean which is protected by Eratap island. The sound of gentle waves accompanies the meal. Very special. Come for lunch !! Enjoy the view ! Swim !If we come back , we are staying here. No service at the place we are staying !! This place is amazing.

Another gem discovered! This is a beautiful sand floored authentic thatched restaurant literally on the beach. The food is fresh as you can get and served with that wonderful Vanuatu smile. What an amazing place. Highly recommended and well worth the drive to the north of the island.

Airconditioned comfort came with a lovely meal. Seafood, steak, vegan options. All delicious. Wine was quite pricey, but a good meal is worth a good wine.

The Mediterranean design, waterfront location and superb cuisine have earned Cafe du Village iconic status in Vanuatu. Just a few steps down a leafy passegway next to the Grand Hotel you will enter into a small coutyard of serenity with split level coral
What a fantastic location, right on the harbour edge amongst the yachts. Our fish and chips was OK. The fish was a bit tough. Iâve had better meals on previous visits. No problems with overcharging and the bill was printed from their System.Dear RagdadThank you for your feedback. I was sorry to read that your fish and chips was not upto standard. Thank you for confirming that the bill and charging was ok. We have been having problems with our POS system and it takes time to obtain replacements from Australia.

We were staying at the resort, so used the restaurant for breakfast every day, and most evening meals but lunch only once.Breakfast was amazing. We all loved the banana pancakes with maple syrup, asking for double serves with sides of bacon often the norm! They don't do a traditional buffet breakfast, rather you can choose from a range of continental offerings including cereals, toats, fruit and pastries with tea, coffee and juices from a buffet area. You then choose one main meal item from the menu - our favourites being the pancakes, yoghurt (kids) and the big fala breakfast.Dinner was amazing, with some great dishes on offer. We did not have a bad dinner during our stay - and recommend the seafood dishes as they cook it perfectly.Happy hour is between 5 and 6pm every day with 20% off drinks, and with young kids, this was often the time we would conveniently arrive. For the most part, the service was excellent. However on two occasions early in our 7-night stay, we had 1 or 2 meals forgotten and had to ask for them (one at dinner and one at breakfast).Annie is an amazing waitress and looks after your every need. You do not have to stay at the resort to enjoy this restaurant, justa short 5min boat ride from the Erakor jetty located next to the Warwick Le Legon resturant.

Firstly, the service was good and the staff did a great job. The setting is great and we appreciated the comfy chairs to relax in after our meal. We found the food was very expensive and tasteless. One of us had the green curry which was nothing like green curry, more watery than curry. Another had the prawn rissotto which was more like fried rice. The entree was 1200vtv for a few small pieces of polenta. We spent over $110AUD on 2 mains, 1 starter and 1 beer.

"Island Spirit" review 2017 (Air Vanuatu's in-flight magazine) "Reefers Restaurant and Rum Bar is relatively new to Vanuatu, with three of Port Vilaâs well-known hospitality identities pooling their talents in 2016 to bring the first and only Rum Bar with
This was a little hidden gem recommended by our taxi driver. There was a great choice on the menu, from a light meal to a full meal. The bacon wrapped prawns were yummy.Great view on the water.Thank you for taking the time to review us, I'm glad you enjoyed the experience and we'll see you when you come back.

With our truly breathtaking absolute beach front location , our fine dining, yet casually relaxed restaurant, is considered to be the best in Vanuatu and is renowned for its pavilion styled, open-air al fresco dining. We also offer our beachside chapel ve
Mostly I agree with other reviewers about the food and location. But I did have a bit of a problem with the atmosphere. There was live music but it was far too loud meaning that everyone had to speak loudly to be heard. With everyone speaking loudly it was hardly a relaxing atmosphere. The other problem we had was on arrival. There were 5 of us and they said they didnât have space despite the fact that there were three empty tables for two right in front of us. After some discussion, they agreed to push two tables together and seat us there. How hard was that? But clearly, they didnât want to make this tiny extra effort to accommodate us.HI Ron, thank you for your review and nice comments about our food and location. Im sorry the atmosphere wasn't to your liking. We were fully booked on the day you arrived as most of our Sunday lunches are now as our live music on a Sunday is very popular. As reviewers will see we are very accommodating with all guest and visitor requests but we do point out the tables you mention were available were the side tables in the entrance to the restaurant which we are an issue to rearrange easily without disturbing others. Reservations in advance are recommended but we will always do our utmost to find a table for anyone who comes to visit us and it is rare to turn anyone away.Im glad we found room for your group and if live music isn't your thing then Saturdays are also a very popular day at Tamanu as well and would be very happy to welcome you then. Thanks again for visiting Tamanu and experiencing our restaurant and do hope to see you back againBest regardsGlen

Set on a hill overlooking the Port Vila harbour, went for our 10th wedding anniversary and weren't disappointed. Meals are five star with views to match. Staff are friendly and attentive. The briased beef cheeks and coconut prawns for mains were great. Entree the camarilised scallops. We recommended this restaurant to other tourists, who had the same view of this restauarant and happy we told them of it.Hi CarolineThank you for your 5 Star review of the Blue Marlin Club, delighted that you choose to spend your 10th Wedding anniversary with usThank you also for recommending us to others. We Look forward to welcoming you back on your next Visit to Port VilaCulinary RegardsMatt
