I went along with two other friends to have lunch at Bubbaâs Shrimp Shack. Unless you only want a Caesar salad and French fries and youâre vegetarian or vegan, this is not the place for you to eat. None of the entrees/soups/chowder/chili are w/o seafood or meat and the âsidesâ have animal products (i.e. bacon in the baked beans). Wait staff are pleasant. Located in a small strip mall in Washington Square. Eat inside or a few tables on the outside. Restaurant is clean; however, there were so many gnats flying around the tables that we were getting bit several times while trying to eat, not to mention they were landing on our food/drink. Since it was cold outside, I have no idea where these things were coming from?

Spent an evening here with friends. We ordered a number of dishes, all of which could be called generous. Prices were reasonable. Service was medium-slow on a Friday night. Our servers were personable, but not what you might consider exceptional.Food was OK...nothing special. Very, very informal atmosphere - Ts and jeans the norm.

Dare Deli has really good food with superior ingredients. The fish & chips may be the best I've ever had. The mahi sandwich and grilled shrimp caeser salad are wonderful. My son loves the buffalo chicken sandwich. EVERYTHING we have ever gotten is great. It is take out only...wish we could dine in since it is not close.
Went on a Thursday for lunch. Seated quickly but waited 10 minutes for someone to take drink orders. My husband ordered shrimp tacos and I got the oyster platter. My oysters were just ok. But my husband got a shrimp platter (higher price) instead of his tacos. The shrimp were cooked to rubber and almost inedible. Hostess was supposed to change the price to match the order but didn't correct it. After an hour and fifteen minutes to grab a quick lunch, we were more than ready to just leave.

I really enjoyed my visit and this was actually my first time ever visiting here. While some of my friends felt it was a great restaurant, it was a little pricey but to me, I disagree. You pay for great food and experience! Will definitely be back.

Fin features the finest local ingredients while utilizing organic and sustainable produce and proteins whenever possible. Chef Kenny Sloane has perfected the use of these seasonal ingredients to complement his refined yet robust menu.
My husband and I stopped by Fin for a quick glass of wine during their Happy Hour and ended up staying through dinner! Appetizers were fresh and delivered promptly. Our barkeep explained the wine choices and gave us room to decide. We will be regulars!

Thoroughly enjoyed my shrimp po-boy along with home made potato chips and, of course, hush puppies. We also had crab cakes and frickles (fried dill pickles) -- very good.BTW, think this is their new address and they are no longer at Wythe Creek place

Great breakfast! This place has all the potential in the world but remains just a ma and pa dinner with ok food. Great place if you are in the area but don't go out of you way. If you do however the garbage eggs are delicious!

Weâve been going here since they opened and this past year the service has completely changed. The wait averages 90-120 minutes when the restaurant is half empty. The last visit we never even got our food. The waitress only came over once and that was to take our order. The owner stopped by and asked what was wrong and we explained the service and she said we could leave... sadly there are several reviews out there with the same experience. This was by far our worst experience at a restaurant ever. There are two sides to every story, now I'll tell mine. When you pull into a restaurant and the parking lot is so full that people are parked in the grass...we may be busy. When you have to wait to be seated because there are no empty tables...we may be busy. You were not even in our place for 90-120 minutes, so you can't speak about "the average wait". You didn't get your food Saturday night because you made such a scene and chose to leave. And being the classy people that you are, you allowed your child to dump Cheetos on the floor and stomp on them. Let's not forget how the "adults" at the table dumped their drinks all over the table on the way out the door....again, classy move! You were so hateful you made the server cry as well as upset an elderly woman. The rest of our guests were laughing at your behavior. From now on if you want fast service I suggest a fast food restaurant, not a place where everything is fresh and made to order.

I've visited the Poquoson,VA location for Surf Rider several times for lunch with a great group of ladies after one of our organizations meetings. We usually get there between 11:30 and noon during on a week day. The service is always prompt. I like the view of the Poquoson river you get from any place you sit. The big windows all around the dinning area keep it bright and scenic. The seafood is among the freshest around with very filling portions.
