The restaurant has just opened about ONE month ago.The type of cuisine is typically regional from the Naples area.We know very well the type of regional food being served at this place and can, therefore say that the quality is excellent. We had TWO problems though, the service and ... the bill! The service was very slow, although the place was less than half full.We had to wait about 15 minutes before the waiter came to collect our order. We then had to wait another 20 minutes before the first dishes were served. We were four at the table and ordered different dishes, but specifically requested to be served in a certain sequence, to ensure that everyone at the table had a plate served at the same time as the others.Unfortunately, after waiting for almost 30 minutes, the first dishes started to be served, but not in the sequence requested. Result is that one of us had nothing to eat and had to wait 45 minutes before his plate was served, while the others had already eaten their second course. They just completely forgot to prepare one of the dishes and put the blame on the chef. The worse was yet to come.Since we were invited by my son and his wife, I did not have a chance to check the bill before it was paid.On our way out, I enquired about the total paid, and found that it was excessive for what we ordered. We then checked the bill, and found out that they had charged four times the wine consumed (2 liters instead of half a litter at 10 â¬uro per liter). We just could not accept to be cheated so spectacularly! After complaining, we were refunded the 15 ⬠charged in excess and left. However, after leaving the place, we realized that the wine charged in excess was not the only item wrongly charged, which confirmed our opinion that we were cheated:Coffee: we were 4 at the table and only two of us had a coffee, but we were charged for FIVE coffees!.Drinks: the owner came with the drinks at the end of the meal and specifically stated that they were offered. In fact ... they were charged! Even more disgusting was the cost at which they were charged: 18 â¬uros for 2 "limoncello" and 2 "amaro" which are never charged for more than 2/2.50 ⬠each!Consider that in Italy, it is not seldom that the owner offers the drinks at the end of the meal. In fact it can happen (and it has happed to us several times) that the owner leaves the bottle for people to serve themselves. In total we were charged 36 â¬uros too much, although we recovered finally 15. Lesson of the day: never pay without checking the bill first. If you love the type of cuisine served at this restaurant and have enough time to wait for the slow service, you will find the place excellent, but, at any rate, pay attention at each line of the bill to check its accuracy, BEFORE you pay! ,

I was there with my family. The restaurant is located outside the historical center and does not have the most attractive design and decoration. So do not judge the place from outside. The staff is super friendly and the food is great, mainly sea food. There is a lot to eat, so do not order too much food. I enjoyed this place and I recommend it.

Got a pizza and some wine, both good and for a budget price! The decorum was nice and even there were areas where customers were allowed to smoke, non smoking areas were well separated. The service was really good.Grazie

First off we went with a local business couple who made the reservations and know the owners and the restaurant. Girasole advertises that it specializes in meat dishes so I had expected something nice. Only when the waiter served my three dinner companions did he tell me that my grilled filet wasn't coming because the chef didn't like the look of the meat. Got to wonder why they waited to tell me just as my friends were being served. OK a quick look at the mixed grill plates two of my dinner companions had been served and told it would take minutes to prepare. Only when my friends had finished eating 20 minutes later did I get my mixed grill and only when I stopped the waiter and asked about it. To be frank my mixed grill plate was uninspiring, the chicken was oily, the sausages not that tasty but the small grilled filet was nice. Saturday night, the place was busy, the anti pasta was traditional cold cuts and cheese so that was OK. I should add that when we walked in and saw a table being served fresh fish we were told that was the last of it. No apologies for the inconvenience. Don't think I'll return for a long time.

I have used TA for years and never felt the need to review a restaurant. The discrepancy between the service we received and the relatively good reports on TA have moved me to make comment. If you want to be received by surly and rude waiters, overcharged, stuck upstairs in a room void of atmosphere, come out smelling like a Turkish smoke house (the waiters used the upstairs room for their breaks) then this is the place for you. Admittedly the pizzas were good, but nothing could make up for the way we were treated.

Les Gourmets has been one of our favourites. Pizzas are very good. Good selection of fish dishes. Great desserts! The staff is very cordial, the service is fast and the prices are reasonable. Good location in the city center just off the main road.

Don t expect much about the food. It is convenient if you have to cross Aosta by car as you can easily park (free parking). Having eaten there a couple of times I would consider as mediocre compared to other restaurants you could find in the region.

This place is popular about budget-conscious locals. The food is simple but well cooked and made of genuine ingredients. Do not expect haute cuisine here, but you will not be disappointed, especially when the check comes

It's always a joyous moment when something you hadn't planned works wonderfully in your favour and just by chance something beyond expectations lands on your lap. Travelling back from Greece last month, we stopped at one of our favourite hotels pre-booked, (The Hotel Diana) assuming we would take lunch as always in the restaurant beneath the hotel. However our lovely host informed us that on Sundays the restaurant did not open. Our host recommended two restaurants one in the lower part of Pollein a small Italian village in the mountains about thirty minutes from Mont Blanc. We checked out the first restaurant and thought we might take a look at the other one recommended before making a final decision. In we went to be greeted by a dynamic smiling professional young woman called Electra who was adept at her art, that being making you feel relaxed and welcome, a truly charming young woman. The restaurant was very busy, we were shown to our table for two in a cosy part of the room. Service was prompt, the wine was excellent, the food was delicious the price was incredibly reasonableâ¦..I do not want to say cheap as it conjures up the wrong image, but I would have happily paid more for the meal and still felt that the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. It's so simple really for restaurants to get it right. Do not be pretentious, do not try to be something you are not, do not charge ridiculous prices, and be pleasant to your clients, and pleasant doesn't mean fawning and being subservient, or worse patronising, it means just be yourself and offer a fair deal for a fair package, works every time. I highly recommend this lovely eatery.

I went more than once at the Mama Fusion Japanese Restaurant, and each and every time had been a marvelous experience. The restaurant derived from the ownerâs family manor house, with a well-groomed garden on the outside and spaced tables positioned in 3 different living room with dark wood matchboard on walls. An outstanding service brings to customers the Mamaâs highlight: sushi! The chef traveled several years around the world absorbing different styles while forging his own. Prices are absolutely fair. I suggest this restaurant as I consider it one of the best sushi restaurant of northern Italy.
