Fantastic food & fantastic service with Cathy who made our visit very special. We started w the bread board which was sinful. Loved the honey butter on my corn bread. Cathy recommended red snapper & daughter said it was scrumptious. Escargot & steak made husband happy. My crab salad fantastic. We will ask for Cathy when we go back!!We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed everything you ordered! Thank you for joining us, and we can't wait to serve you again. Best wishes,Laurie and Keith, Owners

After spending almost $300 for lunch, which BTW was worth it, me and 8 of my friends decided we would take a quick walk to the beach. No, we weren't staying at the resort, we boated over for lunch. As we came back from the beach, some low life security guard made it evident that we had no right to walk along the beach. Apparently we walked past a private condo to get to the PUBLIC beach. We obviously weren't criminals, we just wanted to see the beach. Anyway this security ass, got very aggressive, took off his sunglasses and acted like he wanted to fight. I live in Englewood and take my out of town friends to rum bay every time they come south for a visit. I have literally spent thousands and thousands of dollars at their restaurant and gift shop. It's an unique experience to visit a restaurant that can only be reached by boat. Let it be known that me and my wife and all of our many friends will never go there again. People who spend $50 dollars each for lunch are extremely unlikely to vandalize or rob or harrass guests at their resort. That "guard" should be fired because he alone cost this organization a lot of revenue. Additionally, I will let all of many Englewood friends not to patronize rum bay. As a member of a local organization, my word will carry much weight. Too bad because it isn't the restaurant's fault but instead the assinine policy of the resort. No one I know will stay there or even visit there again. Good luck and for all who read this, be warned. I'm sure if a response is provided it will dilute the real problem here. Bottom line, the people who run this resort - Palm island - have no appreciation for their own customers. I suggest many other places to spend your money such as cabbage key or north Captiva, for a better experience and better food.

Four of us took lunch overlooking the dock and the water. Boats and people and pelicans made for good watching. The pelicans weren't on the menu but the choices were excellent and the cost of the wine and beer was very reasonable. The atmosphere was excellent and the food very good. Casual dining and diners without piercing, or illustrated body parts. Screens were at a minimum. Thanks to the management for keeping it classy but casual.

Favorite with locals and visitors alike, great sandwiches, dinners, homemade ice cream in a restored train depot. Friendly waitresses and great food. We have a large, outdoor, pet-friendly patio area for dining. Lunch served from 11 to 4:30 daily. We will
When my husband and I are in Boca Grande at lunchtime, we like stopping at Loose Caboose.I absolutely love the chicken salad sandwich and look forward to it whenever we visit. My husband tries various sandwiches and seafood dishes and is never disappointed. The restaurant is casual with interesting train memorabilia. The waitresses are friendly, and provide excellent service.

We were pleasantly surprised when we returned to Prime recently...the decor was in the process of changing. Learned new owners, must be a good thing...friendly and efficient staff and delicious food. I'm sure they'll get the decorating finished and be a great place for locals and tourists to enjoy the atmosphere and food.Thank you so much for your comments. Tried to dine here Sept 26, 27 but unfortunately they were closed. We were down fishing for several days and had heard nothing but rave reviews from a number of folks including my son who ate here while tarpon fishing back in June. Seems most restaurants close for Sept and first week of Oct. as there aren't many folks coming down at that time. Ate across the street at Scarpo's which just recently opened and had a nice meal. Next time we may come down in Oct and have chance to eat at Temptation.Sorry we close every year August/September, hope to see you next time. Glad you enjoyed our Neighbors at Scarpaâs!

Nightly Fresh Fish Specials, wood burning grill for burgers and steaks, everything made from scratch. Craft beers and cocktails.
We walked inside, ask if we could sit outside. We sat outside. The time must have forgot about us. They came to take the order. We where not told anything about the daily special. The meal came , then we revived our place settings. In all I really have nothing good to say about this place.

Situated at Gasparila Marina.
I expected the thick crunchy type batter but instead they serve a type of basic breading. The pulled pork was very good. The French fries were cold. They kept the drinks filled. Not a bad place and weâll go back and try a couple different menu items.

New place and they appear to have gotten most of the bugs out. Service was friendly, starting with a smiling hostess to our personable server who was efficient and attentive. The blackened grouper dish was outstanding--large in portion, fresh and moist, nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sausage and penne dish was good but a bit too salty for my tastes--it was loaded with tender sausage and came in a nice marinara sauce. The house salads were large and fresh---crisp romaine, tomato and peppers, blue cheese crumble and croutons with a tasty vinagrette dressing.. Wine list was Ok but would have liked more white options specifically Italian Gavi, Pinot Grigios...Could use some beer/IPA offerings on tap as well. Decor was quite attractive. Will return next time in BC.
