"U Malazzeno" in sailing jargon pisciottano is the warehouse, the venue, where they were deposited equipment (the so-called trades of the sea) of the fishermen, the place where they were salted and cured anchovies from the famous "menaica"; "Ru Spagnuolo"
I really loved this place with its terrace over the beach and fantastic selection of seafood, you can enjoy a fantastic meal while watching the sun set over the harbour. The dishes were well priced and nothing on the menu was frozen, everything fresh. The only criticism I could make would be they the service was a little slow considering there were only 2 tables seated, but it wasn't anything new critical. I highly recommend it and would go back in an instant.

Ristorante di mare sul Lungomare Colombo a Marina di Pisciotta (SA) Chef Alfonso Crisci (Taverna Vesuviana) con Paolo Cece.
Abbiamo cenato su un terrazzo in riva al mare. Abbiamo scelto il menu degustazione a prezzo fisso. Discreti gli antipasti e buoni i primi. Per se ondò frittura. Tutto bene ma non eccellente.

A busy restaurant with great pizza and fish/pasta dishes. Good service with excellent wine. Locals ate her in buzzy vibrant atmosphere. Maybe book a table at weekends.

The 2 of us had an excellent lunch in a beautiful setting, under cover outside, looking over a hillside of olive trees falling steeply to the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea. The service was excellent, and some of the food quite memorable. Buffalo bresaola with arugula and shaved goat cheese was an excellent starter. The 2 pastas were superb; one with an intense seasonal tomato sauce, the other with the local anchovies (alice) and wild fennel. The secondo was lamb, cooked properly, with good flavor. The dessert was memorable, a pastry with fruit and chocolate. Extensive wine list with some very reasonably priced and excellent local wines. Waiter spoke excellent English and was very knowledgable about the food and the the region. He was warm and friendly, but not intrusive. The tempo of food service was very proper. It was one of those dream-like experiences that are most special because you are not expecting them.

This restaurant really honours its name. One of the best views from a restaurant that I've ever seen. The waiter was the kindest most helpful. We tried all the local specialties: all excellent and served with oil produced from the restaurant's olives and locally-made liquors. And prices were really reasonable, including a small dessert on the house.

We dined at Malabar on a gorgeous summer evening. Tables are outside in a pretty square and funky Italian music enhanced the experience. We had stuffed zucchini flowers, sardines, pasta and a salad and tirimasu, all very tasty and nicely done. The barman was excellent and recommended different gins and nice grappa. The waiters were engaging and efficient. A fun experience with good food and wine. Make the effort to walk an extra 200 metres.

Italian Restaurant
We are a vegetarian family and were craving more than just the standard pizza and pasta fare. The staff here pulled together a delicious veg spread with 2 kinds of Eggplant Parmigiana, antipasto, a spinach dish and fresh wholemeal bread plus plates of penne for the kids. Our best meal in a week of traveling in Italy!

This is the second time we go to tre gufi for a family lunch, and both times I should say that the staff was super attentive and nice. Food was excellent. We tried few antipasti and second plates and all of them were amazing, especilly the clams and mussels in white sauce. The owner of the place, imacolata and her husband are very welcoming and friendly. The toilets are very well taking care of and clean. The views are stunning. 100% recommended.

Donât get me wrong thereâs nothing wrong with the restuarant, but there are local restuarants in Piscoitta serving simpler, much taster food at a lot less.I had a potatoe nest with prawn to start â¬12, which consisted of about two spoons of mash potatoe, 4 or 5 prawns and a spoonful of broth. Tasted nice but a â¬12 dish it was not.My main was 12 pieces of Gnocchi made from Ricotta in a pea purée, again â¬13 but gone in 5 or 6 mouthfuls.Dessert was a very small Tiramusu that consisted almost exclusively of mascarpone.
