Our favorite place for fried catfish ... always the best. But here the peanut shells go on the floor, the appetizers like pickles and peanuts are free, fried pickles are quite inexpensive and the fried fish are always excellent and very reasonably priced. Come early and often. It is the best within fifty miles.

Situated adjacent a garage this place is easy to miss. More of a take out than a restaurant, even though we did eat in. You order at the counter. The meal was with us very promptly. I had 4 ribs, coleslaw and green beans which came with a roll. Served in a plastic plate with plastic knife and forks. The meal I cannot fault, Very tasty ribs.

My wife and I stopped for quick lunch on a Friday. There is nothing quick about this place. We waited in line for about 15 minutes to place our order and when we finally placed our order, it wasn't correct. I had the fried fish lunch special, which included a side and drink. I was charged for the side. The person taking orders didn't know it was included. She did refund the difference, eventually. My wife ordered the shrimp poboy. After about a 20 minute wait for our food, my wife's shrimp wasn't cooked all the way, appears that rushed it. However, my fish wasn't bad. It seems we visited on a busy day and they were understaffed. I hope that was the issue. Not sure if I would visit this restaurant again.

Great fried, boiled and grilled seafood. Always consistent food, great slaw bar, terrific friendly staff. Local crawfish in season. Highly recommend.

Decided to try Crazy Cajun based on reviews and to try a new place. We started with the boudin and they were fantastic! The homemade remoulade and tarter sauce are both outstanding. Couple the sauces with the boudin balls and they are a home run combination. My wife had the crawfish mac and cheese...wonderful! I wanted a poboy but could not decide between shrimp or oysters so waitress said âhow about a half and half?â.....That is service! The poboy was great with both shrimp and oysters lightly fried. The poboy was served on a mountain of fries that were perfect. Our server was great and food was outstanding.... we will return!

I went to Paradise with locals who had dined there before. The catfish was delicious, interesting flavor, almost a sweet finish to the catfish. The shrimp were good, a little heavy on the breading. You could tell the shrimp were very fresh. The slaw bar was an interesting mix of marinated vegetables and plain cole slaw or macaroni salad.

I was super eager to enjoy a good cajun meal. however, I was not that pleased with this restaurant. The food was a huge portion for the price but the quality was not great. Our order was prepared wrong twice . The water was so nasty in the area that the drinks tasted awful. I would recommend takeout versus dine in from my own experience .

Read the reviews so thought we would go here while in Alexandria. I liked the restaurant, it was a beautiful place apart from the TV upstairs which i think spoils it a tad. Service was very good and there was a good selection on the menu, including wine. The food though was disappointing. I ordered a steak and jacket potato, the steak arrived but not the potato, i had eaten half my steak by the time it did. The potato was also lukewarm. Expected better, especially as there were only 2 tables to serve at the time.
