After two visits in five days we decided on a third. The Oride's menu is short (a plus in my book) based on traditional dishes, but the chef puts a personal touch to the courses.Everything tastes delicious, if not exactly what you expected. We savoured every dish: vitello tonnate, cooked vegetables, pasta with pesto, tuna baked in sesame seeds... The desserts we tried were also tasty: chocolate cake, panna cotta and tiramisu. A short wine list includes one of the best Proseccos and Moscatos I ever tried. The staff is professional and friendly. You won't regret a visit to Osteria Oride!

We came here for the first time on Monday evening. What a fantastic restaurant!! We started with one of the focaccia followed by the PARK pizza (one of 47 pizzas to choose from the menu!)- amazing quality and ingredients (one of the best pizzas we have had in Italy so far). We also shared the seafood platter- it was outstanding and great value! We would definitely recommend having the creme brûlée, although all of the sweets that came out looked sensational! Great atmosphere with friendly staff! Would definitely come back.

Have been here four evenings because of the very good food we had after some disappointing dinners in the centre of Pietra. The food is very fresh and they have some specialties which are worthwhile to take like the Panciotti ripiene which is a big ravioli filled with Coquilles, shrimp and Bottarga. And the Trofiette di Recco al pesto. Food I did not see in many other restaurants in Italian tourist towns. Service is a little unusual but very friendly and helpfull. All in all a place we recommend!

If you really appreciate the quality of the tasty food, this place will suit you. Although being not the cheapest restaurant around, you will definitely understand what lies behind the prices. We ordered gnochetti with octopus, focaccia with pumpkins and octopus with pumpkins and mozzarella. As the local specialty is the pumpkins I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty recipes. The service is very kind and professional. They also can take your money through a POS terminal. Having in mind the top location. I can understand the price level. In the menu you can find wine and beer at reasonably good price.

Informal place where you can find fish dishes, pizza cooked with a wood oven born in Pietra Ligure and some Ligurian specialties.
Grilled calamari, stuffed with rosemary, were fresh and just delicious. Also spaghetti ai frutti di mari was excellent. As antipasti I highly recommend marinated anchovy. As accompaniment we had white light table wine, fresh and fruity. The service was super nice, enthusiastically engaging into conversation and very helpful. The whole place is very neat and clean. We'll certainly return there :)

We were on vacation from Denmark and we went on Tripadvisor and found this place. We arrived and were made very welcome the restaurant is lovely decorated and very intimate with about 10 tables so it doesn't get over packed. The chef/owner is a very hospitable host and a great chef who comes out and explains what he's done and made. The price is excellent for what we had and quality superb. We've tasted his home made lemonchello and grappa. Will definitely come back Regards Camilla, Steve and Liva

The location is perfect (in the middle of the historic centre of Pietra Ligure), the food is perfect (we ate the most delicious calamari and seppie), the services is perfect (very friendly). I know it's a lot of the same, but if the word fits ...

Was there with my daughter on July 29th 2016 and was happily surprised with this place. Good food and drinks, really excellent service from the waitress with great input to combination of food and drinks and just all in all a good experience! Go there - you will not be dissapointed! You may find a lot of crappy places in Pietre Ligure but this is definitely not one of them! Highly recommended

Casa Doc Pochi Tavoli Ambiente elegante ,ma a conduzione famigliare. Ristorante casa.Aperto tutto l'anno .Prenotazione obbligatoria. In estate il servizio si sposta all'esterno ,nel curatissimo patio e giardino ,ma il numero dei coperti rimane invariato p
Had the best Italian food ever! The authentic house where the owner/ chef and sommelier wife live is so charming. The sauces are amazing. The fish so fresh and presentation beautiful. We couldn't stop eating the freshly-baked bread and also ordered more primi piati after the secondi piati. This feels like home cooking with 5 stars. Paolo is a fantastic host with a warm smile and lots of great stories about his restaurant. Don't miss this gem!

We are Italian but we prefer writing in English to be more useful to a broader range of people. We learned about this restaurant from our host and also reading the reviews on trip advisor. Our expectations were fully met and probably it is the best place where we ate here in Pietra. The starters (I had the octopus) were perfectly executed and also my wife loved the Capon Magro (a typical dish of Liguria similar to cold fish cake); also the pasta with lobster as well as the Ravioli filled with fish were super tasty! Really a place to try in Pietra Ligure
