Food here was excellent. We had grilled octopus, seafood pasta, fried anchovies, and of course Greek salad and fried cheese. The Fried cheese was very salty, but all the other dishes were superb. Service was also good.

We found Amalthea searching the net on our trip between Meteora and Thessaloniki and commented how one place can have so many good reviews.After visiting the charming brothers we fully understand why and how. It is exceptional. From a quick lunch it became a long one.We had fish courses which where simple,tasty but refined with a twist,great wine and incredible desserts.We had the incredible nice brothers giving us full attention and writing us a handbook of great restaurants for our journey ahead.Thank you for memorable stay at your place and we hope to visit you soon again.Last comment: the prize was more than fair for the quality.We would like to thank you very much for your great review! After the excellent experience last summer, have to admit that this place is not a good choice. The food is not that good as it was, and the main problem is the service. You have to wait 20min just to have the menu (at around 17h when there were barely 3 tables taken), and again - more than 30min to get the bill, pay, and have the change back. Disaster...

We have stopped there by accident. Nothing fancy, regular greek tavern, on the promenade street meters away from the beach. Ordered there stuffed calamari, a grilled calamari and a fried calamari menu for the kid. Well, i can say the grilled calamari was huge and each dish was actually very deljcious. See the pictures attached. Will definetely go there again.

Typical food,expected taste,a bit shabby place honestly speaking. It does not surprise you or bring the wow effect,but judging by the crowd,it is quite popular among tourists due to the deck on the beach- and that is all it has. The dishes like saganaki mussels are a bit questionable.I would not visit again.

This Restaurant have very fresh and delicious food. We had mediterranean plate for two which was very big, the food was more than enough and very tasty. We also had tzatziki - also very nice done. The service is on point as well. Will definitely visit again!
