The banyan tree restaurant was a beautiful experience in itself but SANDIP provided excellent services and added to the charm of the evening. He suggested all specialties and I loved the food and drinks. I was travelling to Goa to celebrate my birthday and decided to treat myself at this amazing Thai restaurant in north Goa for my birthday dinner. To my surprise when Sandip discovered that its my birthday, they celebrated it so beautifully that I will never forget it. AMAZING staff, beautiful live music, great food. This place was all I needed on my birthday.

In Kolkata, we have a saying âBiriyani is an emotion, greater than loveâ and you just cannot serve anything naming it a âBiriyaniâ. I donot mind experimenting with Biriyani, but at least it should have the texture and concept of this legendary dish, which is missed here in itâs soo called âMutton Hyderabadi BiriyaniâAmbiance: Peaceful and quite popular with Locals. The surrounding is beautifully done with waterfalls and farm like settlement. In fact this is the only restro which I found more popular with locals than tourists, so am sure it serves really good food. But it was just not for us.Service: Prompt and GoodFood: We tried Fenny Margherita (absolutely not drinkable. A suggestion: Donot use Blue Curacao amply in any dish. It will ruin anything with itâs over sweetness). Chonuk Fry (Loved it. In fact this is the only Savory dish which was good), Hyderabadi Biriyani (It has nothing similar to any type of Biriyani and I was quite surprised a restro which is known for itâs Biriyani can serve something like this in name of Biriyani. The rice used was wrong. The texture was wrong. The use of meat was wrongly done. It is something with meat and a tangy flavored rice). Kingfish Ambot-tik (Too much sauce in comparison to the quantity of Fish). We ended it with Chocolate sizzling Jalebi (It is a savior. Beautifully done and Absolute love).Suggestion: Donot try the Hyderbadi Biriyani or Fenny Margherita. Try Chonuk Fry and Chocolate sizzling Jalebi.Pocket Pinch: Cheap to Moderate.Rating: 3/5 (2 points off for The Fenny Margherita and The Hyderabadi Biriyani)

Ritz Classic is a multi-cuisine restaurant based in Goa renowned for its seafood & Goan Thali since 1978. What began as a quaint, little restaurant with Cafe Ritz Restaurant & Bar in the heart of Panjim City serving the traditional Goan food soon expanded
On the first day of my arrival in Panaji, I was scouting for a restaurant, famous for the local cuisines. Then I had remembered Ritz, an old restaurant located on the first floor of a building on 18th. June Road and this used to be my favourite haunt during my numerous trips made to the city many years ago all on business. I along with two other participants for the conference, which would commence the next day, had reached Ritz at about 7.30 PM on a Thursday and were immediately accommodated on a table. The restaurant, famous for its fish thalis during the lunch time, was a little oblivious of its décor and interiors. We had asked for a portion each of âmasala papadâ, âsquids masalaâ and âmackerel tandoorâ as the starters to go with a couple of drinks. The squid rings prepared in a tangy sauce came with a humongous quantity and three of us had struggled to polish it off. Mackerel was quite well prepared too. For the mains, we went for âFish Ambotikâ, a signature Goan dish (chunks of Kingfish in a mildly sour gravy with pieces of Kokum) and plain steamed rice. Ritz has always been classic with its authentic Goan flavours and quite affordable pricing of food.

The Fisherman's Wharf, in North Goa is an unique dining experience with its quaint settings, replete with the oyster shell windows, the huge brass pots doubling up as fountains, the assorted woven bamboo baskets painted in some bright and funky colours lo
Ambiance - beautiful setting - a Portuguese house converted for the restaurant. Soft lighting and live music. Perfect setting a lovely evening. Staff - Very friendly, knew the menu very well and extremely helpful.Food - The best part of the place!!! The food was stunning. Must have seafood when here but saying that the chicken fried rice was equally good. The food can be a bit spicy...just to be aware. However my fav was the dessert...the apple pie was to dir for!!!Totally value for money. It would be recommended to book a table especially for weekends.Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your valuable feedbackwe are more then happy to know that you were happy with out food, ambiance and service and we would like to assure you that we do work toward maintaining the highest quality standard and creating a memorable experience at all time. Please do visit us again,we will be happy to serve you againRegardsManagement

I was out shopping with the family and as dinner time approached decided to walk into Casa Bhonsle to satisfy my seafood craving. We started out with Chicken Lollipop, Squids Batter fry and Rava fried Prawns. The starters came out piping hot and delicious and disappeared in a jiffy washed down with Bira beer from the tap.For mains we had Prawns Curry Rice with Chonak Rava Fry. A plate of Prawn Kismoor is given complimentary with The curry. The sea food was fresh and beautifully prepared. Desserts was caramel custard and Tender Coconut Souffle which was so yummy that we had a second helping. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Enjoy the exclusive 24-hour poolside and indoor restaurant at Goa Marriott Resort & Spa. Our family restaurant's eclectic international menu offers Indian, Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, all created with a twist by our innovative chefs.
This evening we opted for the Italian a la carte section of the menu and started off with the Pescatore pizza (seafood). This pizza was well executed and had flavourful and fresh seafood as its topping. The thin crust was perfect. For mains, we ordered the Carbonara Spaghetti with much trepidation as very few outlets have mastered the art of preparing the carbonara sauce. The pasta was cooked al dente (as requested) but the sauce left a lot to be desired. There were finely chopped white onions which were used in the preparation of the sauce base, which was not expected. The bacon too was not crispy and resembled ham more than bacon. It was served with a crusty garlic bun.We ended the meal with the Salted Caramel dome from the Goa Baking company. This dessert was enjoyable. The service provided by Harsh was attentive and professional. The restaurant was noisy and chaotic.
