Havenât eaten in the restaurant but w shave had takeaway fish and chips several times from here and itâs always spot on! Delicious, fresh and made to order. Definitely the best youâll find in town and surrounding areas, but more pricey but worth every penny! Thanks Sophie for your review we are so pleased you enjoy visiting our take away. Been here a few times now to give it a fair rating and just not impressed. Food is perfectly nice enough but the portion size is not very big and the minimal differences between small, medium and large do seem to be disproportionate to the prices charged. No facility for paying on card which is annoying but the staff are the real issue. Each time Iâve been in they have been somewhere on the scale between disinterested and downright rude!! Given how many others are saying the same things on here, this really needs addressing as customers will vote with their feet to County Road fish bar where staff are lovely and portions are huge. Thatâs where Iâll be going!!

Traditionalists should stick to the traditional English style chips which are very nice but they'll be missing something. We had traditional chips and we also tried the salt and pepper chips. The traditional chips were good but the salt and pepper chips won hands down.I've eaten Chinese food around the world including many places in China but have never had stir fried chips before. I was very pleasantly surprised. The salt and pepper chips are cooked chips tossed in with stir fried onion, capsicum, salt, pepper, chilli and Chinese five spice. There are probably other spices/flavours in there as well. It's all very tasty and certainly more tasty than bog standard deep fried chips. But be beware. Some will find the chilli somewhat on the spicy/hot side and may wish to separate out the slices of chilli. The service was prompt and friendly and the establishment extremely clean.
