We noticed that the restaurant offered a 2 course lunch, vegetable, wine or water and coffee for E9. We are always looking for places to eat well and inexpensively while travelling. This is a small plain place in a quiet area on the north side of Florence with a pleasant staff. The menu is limited with 2 choices for first course and 3 for second course. I chose a risotto to start and finished with chicken in lemon sauce and zucchini, all good. My husband had a pasta and a hamburger but did not like the hamburger saying that it was tough and tasteless. Our friend had a nice scallopini in lemon sauce. The price is of course very good and it is worth a revisit.

The Carabaccia wants to be a new way to experience the restaurant with primary emphasis on the possibility of a relaxing experience. The Restaurant with its 40 seats creates a family atmosphere, a sort of garden in which the client, accompanied by a light
Great menu, good service and lovely setting. Shame not more choice of food and shame they weren't busier.Seafood pasta was heaving with seafood, steak cooked to perfection and cheesecake to die for. Second visit for me and didn't disappoint.Thankyou very much for your experience. The restaurant offer a quiet atmosphere. We don't like a busy restaurant but a real relax experience for our customers. You are welcome for your next holiday!ThanksChristian
Where to eat Central-Italian food in Orciatico: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We've been here with the kids, we're all calamari fans, we have eaten them a lot in various places in Holland, Belgium, Italy and Morocco. This place was probably the best so far. We had the fried fish (calamari, shrimps, salmon, cod and sardines)with chips. It's basically a fish shop with some tables where you can sit and eat. Don't expect a fancy restaurant or what so ever, it's all about taste. The fish is absolutely fresh and prepared wonderfully. Away from the coast this is very hard to find in Italy, but you should definitely go here to find great fish in Volterra.

The view from the Ponti is unbeatable - looking past the city walls into the valley. The service is also excellent and quite speedy by Italian standards. The menu offers classic dishes from the area including some more unusual ragu sauces (duck, rabbit, etc). While a smaller menu, everything I have had here is quite good. Its also a great place to get an aperitif or to watch the sunset over dinner.
