This was my third visit to Ponzu Sushi & Grill. Dined here on a Groupon deal. Immediately greeted in a friendly manner, seated, and asked if wanting a drink other than ice water. Server was personable, knowledgeable and likable. Debated between potstickers and chicken lettuce wrap, and went for the wrap, for something fresh tot balance sodium of sushi. Was satisfying, with a colorful cherry tomato, cucumber, carrot and red pepper offerings, in addition to rice and chicken on leaves of Bibb lettuce. Ordered tradidtional Cali and Philly rolls - both excellent as before. Both full and light Kokkoman soy sauces were on each table (so did not have to request). The spot has a modern decor/feel, and sits behind a freestanding red-brick building, so is somewhat obstructed from street view. Owner was roaming the restaurant, assisting servers, which I really like, as it shows a participatory management style. Will definitely be back, as Ponzu is one of my favorite sushi spots in Omaha.

Mahogany Prime Steakhouse

This is a restaurant where steak is the star – where great steak is the rule, not the exception. Service will be outstanding but provided in a casual, less intimidating fine-dining atmosphere.

A favorite of ours for celebrating special occasions. It’s pricey but worth it. We always get the filet mignon and it is always perfectly cooked. We took our 11-year old daughter this time to celebrate a school accomplishment and she was beaming the whole time. The staff are always attentive but they really doted on her and they all stopped by to congratulate her. She even went home with a swag bag.Favorites here are the filet, au gratin potatoes and the asparagus with hollandaise sauce. Great cocktails. Great wine list. Try the chocolate layer cake (pic attached) if you save room for dessert. Love this place.

Each time I’ve been to this restaurant, it’s been a good experience and the food and drinks are good. They are normally pretty busy, but the wait for two isn’t very long. Lastnight we had Kiera as a waitress and she was FANTASTIC! She was very attentive and had good suggestions. The food and my drink were great and my bc enjoyed his as well. This is my goto place and I always want to be in Kiera’s section if she is working!

My out of town family always wants to go to Shucks when they come to visit. We all love the laid back atmosphere, the great fish and seafood and the attached store with all fresh fish on display. This is a great restaurant with good specials (Wednesday night oysters) and good food.

There were 3 of us, and the ladies ordered a bottle of wine with help from the staff. After talking to them he suggested a bottle of wine, and it was decently priced and matched their food perfectly. Overall, we were very satisfied and will be going there again. Total for 3 meals, appetizer, my drinks, and a bottle of good wine, was under 150 dollars. Very happy!
