Craving some good sushi is part of the beach, so tried this place. Kids started with the Sparkling Peach sake, which they enjoyed, and I had a nice Pinot Grigio. Kids had a nice Miso soup. We shared the Alec roll, M-16, and Godzilla roll, as well as the spicy yellowtail roll and the mini-star roll, all FABULOUS! Ended with a bowl of the Mocha ice cream, wonderful meal in a former Perkins restaurant! Somehow the decor worked, it is very nice. $140 before tip with alcohol for 3 adults. Enjoy this place!

Definitely stop here if you like fresh crabs. Hard shell, soft shell, crab cakes, crab soup...you order at the register and they bring it to you at long wooden tables. Plus everything you need to pick crabs properly, including a cleaning station for afterwards...they even have chicken for people who don’t like crab. All the seating is outside, but it’s blocked from direct sunlight; still gets warm, though. And their beer selection is, shall we say, limited; I would have really liked a nice IPA to go with the crabs, but no luck there.

Huge place with lots of different areas. Really nice casual /tropical type outdoor dining on the bay where we had drinks. Then we went upstairs to the finer dining area. White table cloth, more attentive service, upscale menu, quieter, romantic ambiance. Had oysters rockerfeller - a bit small in size but great flavor. About $15 for the app. Split the crab cake dinner which was 2 cakes, baked potato and green beans - about $35. Plenty enough to share. Also had the catch of the day which was halibut and also well prepared. Our server was very good, thorough and attentive. Go for sunset if you have chance. Beautiful views.

Hooked

Upscale restaurant serving New American fare paired with craft beers, wine & house cocktails

This was our first visit, but we have visited their sister restaurant in Fenwick Island, DE, and loved it there....so, our expectations were high. We need not have worried, as Hooked lived up to our expectations....First of all, our server, Kayla was very helpful...she knew the menu inside and out, and saw to all our needs or requests, promptly. For her app, my wife had the Corn and Jalapeno Crab Bisque, and she was all smiles about it. I had the Boom Boom Shrimp,,,it was very tasty, and there had to have been at least 1 1/2 dozen shrimp in the bowl. Joan also had the Burrata Salad with heirloom tomatoes, sweet corn, pickled shallots, mizuna, balsamica nd pesto. It was excellent. We both had the same thing for our entree...Pan Seared Scallops roasted corn and poblano, smoked bacon, cheddar grits, beer broth. There were 4 scallops on each plate, and they had to be at least 1 1/4 oz. each. They were tender, juicy, and ooooo soooooo sweet....The grits were also done to perfection. We both enjoyed everything about our meal.....there is plenty of parking in the rear....next time you're in O.C. give them a try.So glad you came to check us out, Mike! So thrilled to read that your expectations were set high, and that we delivered in every aspect! We appreciate your truly kind words about the quality of the food, as well as the service. We'll pass your compliments along to Kayla and can't wait to see you again next time you're in OCMD. We appreciate your recommendation to others! See you soon.

I like the decor, wood and rock. We ate there several times while at a conference. The prices are pretty good especially for the portions. Service was really good, both at the bar and in the dining area. The area needed something like this since Marina Deck closed, reasonably priced, good food.

Fantastic meal with the absolute best crab meat dishes this Baltimore boy has ever tasted. But the whole experience is a bit unorthodox. First of all the place is VERY small with a very limited amount of seating, only a few tables in the whole place. It's a "reservation only" place, and the management is very particular and stringent on the reservation process. You must call exactly 2 weeks on advance to when you want to come. If you call more than 2 weeks out, they will tell you to call back at the 2 week mark. And even then, you are not guaranteed a seating, as the place as reservatioms are made in order of when they're received. My guess is that they book up rather quickly. While it can make getting a table difficult, the process has it's advantages to the customer (which I'll elaborate on later). Also making it unorthodox is that it's a cash-only operation--which alone doesn't make it unorthodox. There are still pleny of "cash only" oerations in this day and age, and that's fine. But the problem is that this place does not have a website and there is no published menu online anywhere, so there's no way to estimate the price-points before heading to the ATM for cash. Speaking of menus, when we hot there, we eventually learned that there are no actual "menus" to speak of. The menu literally changes daily and seasonally, depending on what's fresh and what the chef is in the mood to prepare. The server goes over the menu options verbally. Again though, while they do a good job of describing each dish, at no time was there any indication of how much the items cost during the presentation. But when you get through all that, the experience is just great. The servers go over the appetizers/starters first and then let you mull them over, then they take your order for apps before presenting the entree menu. This is great because it ensures that your appetizers come out properly timed and that your entrees don't come out 2 minutes after your apps (which I hate, but happens all the time these days).Once the apps are rung in and being prepped, then they go over the entree menu (seafood oriwnted with a few meat dished). And let me tell you, most people with our group ordered something differrnt and EVERYTHING was amazing. The portion size were very reasonable for the prices (on the high side but not outrageous). Some fancy aces like to charrge through the nose for a tiny nibble of food. Definitely did not feel ripped off with the anount of food. And it was fantastic. Everything is fresh, ingredients that were probably swimming or on the farm that morning. And while everything was good, the crab entrees were the real winner. One with 3 massive sea scallops over a bed of fresh MARYLAND backfin crabmeat was one of the tastiest entrees I've ever had anywhere. And overall, while the reservation and seating process is a bit cumbersome, it ultimately works out for the customer's best interest. By knowing in advance EXACTLY how many customers there will be each evening and how many tables will be seated for the night, they are able to effectively prep in advance and make sure there is sufficient staff available. And with such a small # of tabkes, it ensures that the kitchen never gets "backed up" and that the serves never get in the weeds, thereby ensuring that you will get great service. We definitely will go back, but next time we know to scale back on the appetizers so we have enough room for the main course.
