Discover Restaurants offering the best Seafood food in Obidos, Central Portugal, Portugal. When 13th-century Portuguese Queen Isabel passed through Obidos and marveled at its beauty, her husband King Denis I simply gave it to her. For centuries after, the kings of Portugal followed suit, presenting the picturesque little town to their queens as a wedding gift. With its white buildings shining as brightly now as then, the walled city of Obidos is very popular with tourists, its hillside location offering amazing views of the Estremadura area. The medieval castle is a main attraction.

Definitely not good. Something fish or meat with fries and rice (!). No seasoning. So sauces. No atmosphere.

What a discovery, good variety of dishes special touch to seafood, and more surprising was the price with a special menu for the summer we paid for big crab with toasted bread, olives and bread as starter, one bottle of wine and 2 deserts - 20.00 euros.Because is outside of the historical town of Obidos and dedicated for local people the prices are completly different.I advise to call to seek proper directions to the place, but is on the main road.

We ate here a couple of nights whilst staying at the Marriott. The views are exceptional- it is a really pleasant spot to have dinner.Service can vary a bit depending on which waiter is on hand at a particular time but on the whole the servive was somewhere between very good and excellent with both the fish and wine served well.We stuck to sea food and amongst the starters the tuna tartare was outstanding but portion was large enough to share (as they suggested and we ignored). Both evenings we shared a fish (dover sole and then sea bass). The sole was very good and reasonably priced and the sea bass was huge and very expensive but worth it.....This restaurant is not a cheap option. However the quality of presentation, side dishes (creamed spinach, caramelised shallots and potatoes) made it value for money. You can go to Peniche pay half the price and get fish slapped on a plate with no view and agressive service- we did. So here you get what you pay for which is great food and a lovely experience

Come and meet your new restaurant, café, Snack-bar and pastries of Lagoa de Ãbidos in the Aldeia dos Pescadores in Bom Sucesso ...
If youâre in the area then this place is a must. Just to be clear; this is a bar that serves very good food, so donât go in expecting Egyptian cotton serviettes and gold holders. The food is first class for the price, and the service second to none. The dishes ranges from Pasta, to burgers to meat to seafood. We ordered a variety and all arrived within a few minutes of each other and all were delicious. The wine was superb and the beers were also good. We went as 2 families; with many children and they also loved the experience. The waiter under sold the puddings too; as they were amazing, especially the little chocolate pudding with the sublime compote. The restaurant is signposted for miles, and although I wouldnât travel from Obidos, it is a great place to eat with a family.

The views during sunset at amazing and worth a trip. I recommend coming for that, having a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. We found the main courses were subpar and took quite a while.
