A quaint Cafe during the day and a fine Dining at Night, where Italy meets the magic of the South Pacific. Stop in for an espresso and stay for a diverse menu featuring fresh fish, pasta, Tongan infused cuisine and more! Wi-Fi access during the day from 8
I have eaten at this restaurant over the last three years while visiting Vava'u and I have nothing to complain about. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The food is consistently good, and a great selection to choose from, good size portions and I believe is priced well. I have been there for lunches and dinners and will go again the next time I visit. It is on the harbour, so it is nice if you are dining there for lunch.I do recommend you make a booking, as it gets busy especially for dinner. Go and enjoy.Regards,CherieSydney, AustraliaMalo e Lelei,Thank-you for taking time to review us, always a pleasure to have you with us for the last three years and have you again this year! Come and visit us for lunch, dinner or sunset drinks on the waterfront in Neiafu on the island of Vava'u in the Kingdom of Tonga.
We had an omelette from the all day menu. Came with toast and jam. Very generous portion with fresh vegetable filling. Good coffee too. Great location right on the water. Can watch the yachts and tenders come in.
We are the only Chinese Restaurant in town, and at the heart of Neiafu, right at the waterfront where the Mariner's Park is. Tourists from the Cruise ships that have visited Vava'u this year, advised us that we should get listed in this global platform fo
In a place with a limited number of restaurants, we tried out this one because we were bored with the rest. We got a very inexpensive, flavousome Chinese meal. Mapo tofu scrubbed up slightly better than the braised pork, but for the price it's hard to complain. We threw in a fried rice, but both dishes came with mounds of boiled rice.
The Hideaway is Tongas ONLY floating bar and restaurant. We serve fresh Fish & Chips caught by local fisherman and serve the best Margaritas on the Island made with fresh squeezed Kola (a lemon/lime fruit) that grows right here in Vava'u. Some come on out
We stopped at the hideaway on Sept. 10th, 2019. The co owner, char, of the hideaway choked and tackled my wife. We were having a conversation. Char lunged at my wife, who was sitting in a chair across from her. She wrapped her hands around her throat and tackled her. My wife now has bruises all over her body from charâs hands and hitting the deck during the attack. We left immediately and have reported the incident to the police. I would recommend staying away from this establishment for your own safety. This is not true. If you would like to come talk to me you know where I am.
