We opted for starter and main course. The food was quite good however, for the price you pay it probably is not worth it. For example starters: around 15 Euros for 1 scallop, or 13 Euros for 4 Shrimps.For Mains the quality of the meat was very good. The Tuna dish however didn't seem to work with the vermicelli.So all in all an average experience.Dear Qasim,Thank you for your review. Sorry to read that in your opinion some dishes are overpriced. The scallop dish with risotto, cauliflower, parmesan and hazelnut. One scallop is on top of the risotto, the other is cutted into small pieces and mixed with the risotto. There is a difference in price of fresh scallops we using or scallops from the fridge or in a glass jar. Fresh scallops are expensive in this season. The other dish of Gamba, melon, parsley, popcorn and curry, we use the bigger gambaâs off high quality which cost more than average scrimp.All dishes are made using the freshest seasonal and where possible, sustainable ingredients. This means that it can have an impact on the price we have to pay to our supplier and the selling price.The tuna dish and the vermicelli didn't work together. I respect your personal opinion in this. An amazing dining experience worthy of future Michelin acclaim. Stylishly refurbished, this re-polished gem in Blaricum delivered a magnificent dining experience. Superb table service, with just the right amount of friendly familiarity, encouraged us to try the chef's special menu. What a delight. The creative team produced an exquisite array of dishes, exciting us with combinations of taste and texture, colour and presentation. A new chef, new interior, new style. Prioritise this restaurant on your 'to do' list and visit soon. You will not be disappointed.

Bussum's Candi Borobudur features in a list of the top 50 Indonesian restaurants in The Netherlands. Deservedly so!This restaurant is beautifully decorated, has charming staff and serves better food than any of the Indonesian restaurants I have tried in Amsterdam.We ordered a rijstafel for four, which was more than enough for five people. Every dish was delicious (and there were lots of them!) A really pleasant evening in Bussum. We will definitely return to the Candi Borobudur.

The inspectors from Michelin said it best. You immediately feel at home in this cozy neighborhood bistro. Modern French kitchen is brought in a well-thought-out and balanced way, What I personnaly appreciate is that chef Menno goes out of his way to accomodate the wishes of customers and is never shy of prepapring something off the cuff.

I joined my BF's family tradition to dine here on '2nd Christmas Day'. Very cold, the quiet winter night...get the pix? Great service, friendly staff. I'm Pescatarian, so my Pre Fixe dinner menu was 'fish' all the way. It would've been nice if the chef substituted one dish with all vegetable dish of some sort. But yes, this is a Michelin-starred restaurant, who would dare...lol The rest of my group seemed to enjoy their meal. This had long been missing in Bussum, a local low key yet very pleasant meeting place. Food is satisfactory, the classics are good and sometimes great specials. Very nice wine by the glass and not skimpy! Actually jealous of the most welcoming and stylish smoking room! Service changes - good intentions and excellent core team - new ones need better training. All in all a welcome and comfortable hang out !

We had been here before but a long time ago when the restaurant was under different management. Our Christmas plans changed so we decided to have dinner here. An elaborate menu. The food was delicious the service efficient and the wine selection interesting. The wait between courses was sometimes a bit long. We will definitely will go back.

Visited on a midweek night . Made a reservation that lunchtime and were no 31 on list so you do need to reserve ahead of time.Service was efficient and friendly. Steaks were tasty and good quality but at â¬14 to â¬17.50 for standard steak (not dry aged and only up to 200g) it seems a shame that they then charge extra for any sides such as fries or an extortionate â¬4.50 for 4 pieces of broccoli.â¬110 for family of 4 to have basic steak and chips plus 1 coke each for kids and minimal wine / beer for parents. No starters or dessert in that order. Itâs good food but pricing is definitely making the most of the captive audience at the marina

A must go in town, friendly couple, exquisite food Italian and French style, in a nice atmosphere. Wine offer at the same level. On Thursday the burrata arrives fresh from Italy, do not miss it! I shall return!

This is a deservedly popular Italian restaurant tucked into the battlements of Naarden's historic city wall. Large open kitchen where you can see the chefs hard at work. Young attentive staff who have been well trained to work as a team. They have just the right balance between being polite but never intrusive. Good acoustics, so even it is full, dining is still pleasant and you're not bothered by neighbouring tables. They have an a la carte menu that changes weekly as well as a 3/4 course fixed priced menu. I recommend the pizza's, the wild boar, the tiramisu, the shrimp, and homemade prune ice-cream. Good value portions. This place deserves to go from strength to strength.
